Michael Sutton is building Argent — the AI-agent programming language for Kaspa Kaspa core developer Michael Sutton is shipping Argent: an actor-based language and compiler designed so both humans and AI agents can build complex on-chain applications on Kaspa’s L1 covenants. Argent lets you compose multiple contracts, link apps atomically, and expose clean interfaces — all compiling down to auditable SilverScript that runs natively on Kaspa’s BlockDAG. No separate VM. No trusted bridge. Just pure PoW consensus enforcing the rules. Sutton put it plainly: giving agents a clean language model is the difference between usage and no usage. Humans and AI both thrive with higher-order abstractions. Argent is that layer — so agents can post tasks, manage state, compose with other apps, and settle payments without wrestling raw opcodes or fragile off-chain glue. Why this matters for market share: • AI agents need fast, cheap, deterministic settlement. Kaspa already has 10 BPS and micro-fees. • They need enforceable rules and atomic multi-app composition. Toccata covenants + Argent deliver that on L1. • They need something they can actually read, generate, and verify. Argent’s actor model and open interfaces are built for that. While other chains still bolt agent tooling onto slow or custodial stacks, Kaspa is making the base layer agent-native. Argent is the missing piece that turns “programmable PoW” into “the place AI agents actually build and transact.” The rails are live. The language is being built for the machines. That’s how Kaspa takes share in the agent economy. #MichaelSutton #Argent #Kaspa #KAS #AIAgents #Toccata #Covenants #ProgrammablePoW #AgentEconomy #BuildOnKaspa #KaspaKing1 #iykKASyk

I know how to code, but I’ve never worked with Rust or Tauri. So last night, I prompted Claude in Terminal to build me a Clockify-like desktop app in Rust or Electron. After a quick questionnaire, it recommended Tauri. About an hour later, the app was done. Claude even named it Stint. I then asked it to document the project in a CLAUDE.md file, add Clockify data import to the future features list, and create a .dmg installer for Mac. Ten minutes later, that was done too. I sent the installer to my sister, she loved it, and now she’s replaced Clockify with Stint. Talk about vibe coding! I barely had to lift a finger. Next steps? Put it on GitHub, build a website, and maybe add some paid features. It's getting silly.

Developer Brandon Thomas (@echelon) is building open-source alternatives to Adobe apps. I’m trying out PhotoCraft, a Photoshop alternative with a familiar interface and virtually no learning curve. It’s amazing that one developer is creating all this software with the help of Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5.5 AI model. Before installing it, I had Claude audit the code for anything malicious, then walk me through downloading it and verifying the checksum. Easy! As always, DYOR. I stopped using Adobe when it switched to subscriptions, but my old 2012 Mac still runs CS5, giving me access to Photoshop and Illustrator — my two favorite hobbyist tools. It’s great to see open-source alternatives that offer a familiar experience without subscription fees or intrusive terms of service. Google PhotoCraft to find the GitHub repository, then use your preferred AI assistant to guide you through the installation.

Big thank you to all our miners, node runners, and community members for seamlessly adopting the latest fork. Your rapid migration ensures a stronger, more decentralized network. This fork brings major immediate changes to ZKAS: • 0% Dev Fees: Giving 100% of the block rewards back to the miners who secure our chain. • Network Optimization: Upgraded stability and transaction throughput parameters. With this foundation locked in, our focus shifts to the next frontier: making ZKAS the ultimate quantum resistant privacy network on a PoW chain. Traditional privacy coins rely on elliptic curve cryptography, which quantum computers can theoretically break within hours. ZKAS is eliminating this risk entirely by removing public keys from the chain completely. Here is how the ZKAS Quantum Resistance Upgrade secures our future: • Zero Public Keys: Coins belong to a hashed owner tag, leaving no public keys on chain for a quantum attacker to reverse-engineer. • Hash-Based Proofs: We swap vulnerable elliptic curves for 512 bit BLAKE3 hashing, preserving over 170 bits of strength against quantum attacks. • Off-Chain Payment Codes: Wallets interact directly via peer to peer links, sealing transactions with 256-bit symmetric encryption before hitting the ledger. • 7-Hour Proof Pruning: Massive quantum-safe proofs are validated, then pruned after 7 hours to keep the BlockDAG flat while permanent cryptographic fingerprints remain sealed under proof of work. By aligning our privacy math with the same high-strength hash mechanisms that run our proof-of-work mining, ZKAS ensures there is no weaker underlying layer for attackers to bypass. Just went down the $ZKAS rabbit hole at 2am and now I'm convinced this is the one. Kaspa speed (1 second blocks) but every single transaction is forced private with Zcash Orchard tech. No "optional privacy" where 99% of people stay transparent and dox themselves. You literally can't send a public one. Kaspa miners can merge-mine it with zero extra electricity. Free bags while you hash KAS. No premine, no VCs, fair launch, still microscopic mcap. After some months people are gonna be posting "I was early" screenshots while acting like they always knew privacy + actual speed was the play. zkas.info/ #ZKas $ZKAS #crypto #cryptogems #newcrypto

The ZKrise upgrade is officially LIVE on testnet, bringing the ultimate evolution in programmable privacy, speed, and decentralization. ⏳ Track the live mainnet countdown here: zkas.info/ZKrise We are shifting gears into hyper growth. Here is why the ecosystem is more bullish than ever: 0% DEV FEE. PERMANENTLY. The 5% dev cut drops to zero. Miners now keep 100% of all block subsidies! Maximum yield, maximum decentralization. ZAKURA 2.2.0 UPGRADE Blazing-fast zero-knowledge proof creation and verification. High-throughput privacy with massive wallet performance and memory gains. IRONCLAD SECURITY The double-mining gap is officially closed. Zero inflation bug. Zero exploitation. Just pure mathematical certainty and structural hardening. LIGHTER WALLETS Miner rewards are now batched (1 payout note per 100s instead of every block). Say goodbye to wallet bloat and hello to instant, lightweight syncing. ⚠️ MANDATORY ACTION REQUIRED ⚠️ This is a consensus level security fork. To keep your nodes, pools, and wallets on the right chain, you MUST upgrade before DAA 6,897,100 (~14 Oct, 13:40 UTC). Don't get left behind on the old fork. Update your stacks now: 🔹 Core Nodes: github.com/firecash/zkas-rus… 🔹 Solo Miners: github.com/firecash/solo-dua… 🔹 Light Wallets: github.com/firecash/zkas-wal… 🔹 Pools/Bridges (ZKM1): zkas.info/docs/mining/#zkm1 #ZKas #ZKProof #CryptoMining #PrivacyCoins #Web3 #Kaspa #Layer1 #PoW kaspa:native

everything you mentioned is possible. burn and mint are easy; freeze can be implemented in various ways, with different tradeoffs. dexs and lending platforms are possible as well, though good designs require real effort and expertise. the main ingredient enabling the more compositional apps like dexs and lending is single-transaction atomicity, which allows onchain composability. these are exactly the kinds of design patterns Argent is trying to establish, and that the various KCCs are being designed with in mind

vprogs is a Rust framework for app-specific rollups on Kaspa. Your app’s logic runs off-chain inside RISC Zero, and Kaspa $KAS only verifies proofs. What is RISC Zero? RISC Zero is a technology that lets a computer prove it executed a program correctly without requiring everyone else to run that program themselves. It uses a cryptographic technique called a zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM). In the context of Kaspa and vprogs, RISC Zero is the component that can execute an application's logic off-chain and generate cryptographic proof that the execution followed the program's rules. Why this matters for Kaspa • More complex applications: Developers can write application logic in Rust rather than being restricted to simple native Layer 1 transactions. • Less on-chain computation: Expensive application logic can run off-chain, with proofs used to verify results. • Potentially better scalability: The network may support more sophisticated applications without requiring every node to repeat all their computation. • Privacy potential: Zero-knowledge proofs can hide private inputs, although the application must be designed to keep those inputs private. teapawt.net/Max143672/status/21085…
I finally wrote a book that covers vprogs, and in particular tic-tac-toe implemented as a vprog on testnet-10. It follows the game down to the machinery underneath, with diagrams and appendices for the details. Welcome to explore it and ask questions: biryukovmaxim.github.io/vpro…

You know you’re dealing with a low-IQ fudster when someone makes sweeping claims but can’t defend them under scrutiny. Guerrier du Clavier @GuerrierClavier says, “Now I can tell you clearly: $ZKAS is a SCAM.” But when you challenge his assertions with facts and reason, he simply hides your comments and removes your ability to respond further. That tells you quite a bit. There seems to be a serious lack of understanding here, combined with an apparent agenda. Classic Dunning-Kruger effect: the less someone understands, the more certain they seem to be.
