To those we loved and lost,
To those who served and never came home,
To those who continue to serve,
Today on #RemembranceDay, and every day in between,
We will remember them.

Our military has always been a beacon of hope, doing what others could not, would not, or said was impossible. Let us pause to honour the service and sacrifice of our Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. Let us also remember that freedom is not free and has come a considerable price for our ill and injured Veterans and their families with whom the battle lives on. Honour the Fallen, Help the Living. 🇨🇦

The consequences of war and civil violence on the wellbeing of individuals with disabilities are uniquely sever. Stories from Ethiopia shows the immense challenges and how the war has affected their access to basic healthcare. Shame on us for not giving this topic attention. 😢

Today we are honouring and remembering the life of one of our own paramedics.
During this time of grief, we and her family kindly request privacy from the media and the public out of respect for her and her surviving family.
May her light continue to guide and inspire us all.
