Great first week with my @GrapeviewSchool 7/8s. Looking forward to a fun year ahead.
The @RiverLions came to @htubman2015 today for a presentation about goal setting, hardwork, and discipline. They finished their presentation with making a long distance shot which got the students REAL excited! Thanks for coming to visit and good luck with the upcoming season.
Looking forward to the announcement. My class will be watching. Perfect way to introduce our Space Science Unit.
REMINDER – We’ll be live today at 11:00 a.m. ET to announce the Canadian Space Agency astronaut who will take part in the #Artemis II mission to the Moon.
You don’t want to miss it! 🚀
ALT The helmet of someone wearing an orange spacesuit can be seen with an image of the moon in the background and the words “Join us live for the unveiling of the Artemis II crew! Monday, April 3rd 2023, 11:00 a.m. ET”
This is one of the scariest tweets I have ever read. Privatizing Education is a huge mistake for Ontario.
Time for school choice in Ontario.
With what we pay per student for education in Ontario, parents could choose a nice private school with a voucher system.

For Take me Outside Day on Wednesday, the 6-1s collected a variety of leaf samples to learn more about the Biodiversity in our neighborhood. We will sort and identify the leaves to find out what types of trees we have here.
It's been awhile since we shared our Wordle progress, but the 6-1 class is still rocking it every day.

A little bit of a technical glitch in not being able to post, but 6-1 was successful again with yesterday's Wordle. We successfully guessed the word on our final try. Our daily streak is now at 2. Lets see if we can keep this going!

January 18 - Schools are closed again today. Sidewalks and roads are still being cleared due to yesterday’s very heavy snowfall - we did not feel it was safe to open schools at this time.Keep warm and stay safe!

2022 is off to a strange start. We know lots of you were ready to go to school today, but it’s officially a long weekend, so we really hope you enjoy it!
