I need y'all to go on IG, like the Reel and tell the good folks at Canon you want to see this film made.

Did your husband in Africa say this or is there another husband you speak of?
My Husband Says He Cannot Raise His Children Under Gina Hinojosa's Government.
When my husband first said this, I honestly thought he was joking.
We were having dinner when I mentioned Gina Hinojosa and the changes being discussed in Texas. Suddenly, he put down his fork and said something that left me speechless.
"If she ends up governing this state, I'm taking my children somewhere else. I refuse to let another politician decide what kind of future my children will have."
I laughed nervously and told him that no politician should have that much power over our family.
But he wasn't laughing.

Listen to what he said:
“We still have total power in Texas, and we must act like it by using the remaining ten weeks to restore separation of powers and limit the emergency powers that Governor-Elect Hinojosa is set to inherit, which would allow her to destroy liberty in Texas by executive fiat."
So Texas Republicans knew they eroded separation of powers, overstepped the limits to emergency powers to destroy liberty for most Texans…
I hope Texas remembers this for future elections.
🚨 BREAKING: Texas State Rep. Brian Harrison IMMEDIATELY calls on Gov. Greg Abbott to call a Special Session while they still have control to strip the governor's emergency powers before Gina Hinojosa (D) assumes office
"Without action, Governor Hinojosa will inherit the powers of a DICTATOR."
- Ban the governor from suspending or changing state laws
- End emergency orders after 30 days unless the Legislature ratifies them
- Stop the governor from reissuing orders that expired or that lawmakers rejected
- Require emergency orders to be narrowly tailored
- Fast-track court challenges to emergency orders
"We still have total power in Texas, and we must act like it by using the remaining ten weeks to restore separation of powers and limit the emergency powers that Governor-Elect Hinojosa is set to inherit, which would allow her to destroy liberty in Texas by executive fiat."
He says he supports doing this for ANY governor, Republican or Democrat, but this makes it particularly pressing.
Honestly — Texas got wiped out. The clock is ticking!

If we want to KEEP this Republic, we MUST overturn Citizens United. It has to be a priority.
