This afternoon, 6 pupils from Year 5 took part in the PIRAMIDD Great Science Share. They presented an enquiry, asking the question - Can materials be separated?

Midlands Martial Arts Competitions @ Hinckley leisure centre was there first ever competition, Abdullah won 5 medals (1 gold 🏅 , 2 silvers 🥈 and 2 bronze 🥉) & Mantasha secure 4 medals ( 3 silvers 🥈and 1 bronze 🥉)

The origin of the word ‘rune’ is so fascinating. When ancient Germanics invented their own alphabet, they called the letters *rūna or ‘whispers’, because as your eyes followed them, they spoke to you, silently—whispered not only words, but worlds. Last week, some of our year 5 students undertook a Bikeabilty course provided by @BikeRightUK, learning how to safely ride their bikes around the locality. A great time was had by all. @HollinPrimary @mrs_sshields

🏐🏆🥇🏐 More netball success for @HollinPrimary children today as our Year 5 team took part in a Y5/6 seven a side tournament at Meanwood. We won all of our games to become spring league winners, well payed everyone 👏👏
