Haley Stevens isn't dumb.
She knew before she backed Mike Rogers that she was abt to become the Democratic Party's greatest pariah this cycle. And that she'd never resurrect her political career if she did this.
If AES loses, she gets blamed. If he wins, she looks weak.
There is no political upside to what she did.
And yet she chose to do it anyway. Bc clearly she felt it was the right thing to do -- despite all the voices in her ear telling her not to.
Gutsy.
Deplaning with @AmericanAir at @flystl tonight with less than a minute to go in game and down by 1. Pilot sees my Cyclones jacket and says, “Go, Cyclones.” Then I look down at phone and see we kicked the FG to win! Pilot good luck charm!!!
And way to go, #Cyclones!!

For the zillionth time, a food's level of processing is not a good proxy for badness!
Yes, most processed foods are crap! But so are most non-processed foods.
It's because those are the foods we buy.

Follow the forecast, not the calendar! It is too early still for manure and anhydrous.
For fall anhydrous ammonia, the recommendation is to wait for 50°F and falling. We aren't there yet and it may take a little longer to get there this year. Read more: crops.extension.iastate.edu/… #IowaAg #NitrogenManagement

With 20 days till midterms, the American people have made up their minds about their leaders in Washington and their home districts.
At this point, polls are just noise — it's now all about which party can get their supporters to go vote. 🗳

The seventeenth president of @IowaStateU. Welcome home, President Cook.
Bless whomever at @DFWAirport thought that the simple flight arrival/departure screens in the terminals needed updating and came up with this unbelievably busy concept… my eyes literally do this 😵💫 when I look at this new screen! 🤦🏻♀️
