And America is arguing about whether the Muslim Brotherhood is a problem. We are doing a fundraiser for Mercury One and the Nazarene Fund in Dallas which is rescuing people like this all over the Middle East. So far the Congo is far too dangerous. Someone must stop this. It begins with us being willing to look.
Congo is bleeding, and the world is looking away.
Congolese civilians are being buried alive, villages are being burned, homes looted, and women and children subjected to horrific sexual violence.
In a country blessed with gold, cobalt, copper and immense natural wealth, millions continue to suffer violence, displacement and unimaginable cruelty.
How many more lives must be destroyed before the world pays attention?
Congolese lives matter too.
Their suffering must not be ignored.

Attorney General Todd Blanche refused to rule out the possibility that the DOJ could seek to block states from certifying results of next month's midterm elections, saying extraordinary circumstances might warrant federal intervention.
Blanche said he could envision a hypothetical "doomsday scenario" in which the department might intervene, although he stressed that the Trump administration has no plans to interfere with the election process.
"Yes, of course there's scenarios that we can all come up with hypothetically, you know, some doomsday scenario, for example, right?" Blanche said. "So, I don't think it's proper to make any kind of conclusory statements about what's going to happen in the future, because I have no idea what's going to happen in the future."
Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz predicted on NEWSMAX that Rep. Ilhan Omar will resign from Congress. He said mounting questions about her identity and immigration history could cost her citizenship if they are proved.
"I think she will resign from Congress," Dershowitz said on "The Record With Greta Van Susteren."
"I don't think that she's going to want to see congressional investigations."

El Sayed should welcome the question and pivot to his faith in a heavily Muslim populated state.
Instead he exhibits the hostility of one associated w the Muslim Brotherhood.
What happened to the dance moves?
WOW this exchange.
@BretBaier tried to give Abdul El-Sayed a chance to finally explain the 2012 letter in support of the Muslim Brotherhood and Abdul awkwardly tries to speak over him.
This flailing defensiveness is why we’re on week 3 on this issue.
CPAC helped fund around $1 million in legal fees mostly to Trump World staffers who were serving during Jan 6. Literally no one was at fault for any crimes. Just harassing attempt to wreck reputations and drain resources. A scary time for former staffers.

Florida didn’t become the most Republican big state in America by accident. It happened because people registered voters, knocked on doors, and refused to lose.
So I asked the UF College Republicans a hard question: What does the Republican Party look like in ten years? The answer is the people sitting in those chairs—a lot younger, less consultant-driven, and more fearless than the one I came up in.
CPAC will stand with them because the DSA and the socialists are coming for their generation first. We don’t intend to let them have it.

This VF Kushner story falls in the category of “don’t believe everything you read in the papers.”
That is, unless you believe the Europeans sat on this for eight years while they and Democrats were trying to run Kushner off Ukraine.
You’d also have to believe that the only person they told was a reporter, who then sat on it for six more years while Kushner reshaped Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa — and only released it when he could get paid for his book.
Don’t be that gullible. Use your heads.
“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet.
Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed.

Today I woke to a text from the daughter of my former colleague at CNN Bob Franken telling me that he died. Bob was sarcastic and fun……a big part of CNN history. I am sorry for his daughter who adored him and he adored….and I am sad for myself - I miss the laughs and good times at live shots and in the CNN bureau with him.
