Weโve disconnected electricity at a reservoir owned by Johannesburg Water, in Centurion. The City of Tshwane is owed over R62 million by the entity. The original bill stood at 69,4 million, but only R7 million was paid after a final notice was issued.
Disconnection actions are the last measure used by the municipality to recover revenue owed.
We continue to plead with customers to honour their municipal bills. Without revenue, we are unable to deliver services to residents of Tshwane.
