Lear jets usually deal with major turbulence from a storm quite well.
In fact, there isn't another example of a lear jet taking on major turbulence above 20,000 feet and crashing.

It's somewhat likely the AI guided anti aircraft missile defense system sitting outside Mar-A-Lago just mistook a lear jet for a missile, shot it out of the sky and killed 9 people.

JUST IN: Fridges and freezers at some supermarkets in Belgium, Luxembourg and Sweden were hacked overnight.
Hackers changed the temperature settings to as high as 70°C (158°F), causing food to spoil.

The main systems on the barge are two AN/TWQ-1 Avenger short-range air defense units (one tan, one green camo). Each is a Humvee with a rotating turret holding eight FIM-92 Stinger missiles and a .50-cal machine gun, built to engage low-flying aircraft, helicopters, and drones.
The opening shots show accompanying counter-UAS fly-away kits: tripod-mounted EO/IR sensors, radars, and a mast-equipped vehicle for detection, tracking, and jamming.
