This sent me down a usage rate (Harden was ~40% many of these years, which is crazy) and FT rate rabbit hole on Basketball Reference. Harden’s peak FT rate was apparently actually w/Philly that year he forced his way out of Brooklyn. 65% (!!!) those last 20+ games 😅

Absolutely ludicrous. Wemby running full speed downhill, catch and shoot fading away into the corner. Nothing you can do to defend this — zero chance.

I was just reading about the Wilt game. It’s actually way funnier than that. The Knicks were bleeding out the clock on offense and insta-fouling everybody besides Wilt on defense. So the Warriors subbed out all 4 non-Wilt starters and started insta-fouling back to save clock.
