For girls, the answer is no. Under federal law, a parent's consent can't make non-medical genital cutting legal, parents who consent can be charged, and the penalty is up to 10 years. Boys and intersex children get no such protection.

Any Doctor who does this to a child or infant, with no documented medical indication or diagnosis, should be locked up and given life in prison.
Infant Circumcision is seen as "medical child abuse" if the parent is pushing it to be done to the child. If the doctor is pushing a parent to sign the form, it is known as "Defective informed consent"
Even Christians should be AGAINST Infant Circumcision, and if you are one of those who believe you need to circumcise your baby in the name of Christ, you are NOT Christian.

The Lancet's new issue on men's health is all about taking an intersectional approach to men's health. I would like to remind everyone that such an approach is partly what caused big public to ignore men's health for so many years. I discussed this in my article titled, "Public Health's Historical Prejudice Against Men and Boys." In the article, I discussed an influential article published in the American Journal of Public Health in 2011 that used the same "health equity" ideology as rationale for why public health should NOT be concerned about the sex difference in life expectancy.

Fact:- That's physiological phimosis, and it's normal. Most boys' foreskins retract by adolescence.
Never force it back because it can tear, scar or cause paraphimosis.

Public service announcement: I am strongly opposed to circumcision and it is something I will block people for supporting. Mutilating a perfectly healthy child for any reason is unacceptable and would be harshly punished if I had the ability to decide such things.
