What happened to a father and his daughter at Carmel's GetGo gas station should never happen to another family.
The violent carjacking raised serious questions about repeat offenders and the revolving door created by our criminal justice system.
That's why I joined State Representative @lopezforindiana and Indy FOP President @RickFOP86 to urge voters to vote yes on Public Question 1, which would give judges additional authority to deny bail when defendants pose a substantial danger to others, while preserving due process.

A huge reason I voted for the Working Families Tax Cuts was its expanded estate tax exemption, which helps more families keep their businesses going and pass their farms and traditions down to the next generation.
