Essentially, it's pretty much fridging. It's Johns employing a weak storytelling trope at Nora's expense. It's also fucking crap when you consider Flashpoint is about Barry learning he can't change the past... but Eobard can. Also Johns is a bit of a one trick pony.

Thoughts on the retcon of Reverse Flash killing Barry's mother? What works/doesnt work about it for you?

Reading more Bendis Sentry just gives me more of an appreciation for the movie because I feel like it took aspects of his characterization there (esp the more negative and ableist ones) and humanized them and treated the character with empathy

Like, Bendis often had him depicted as useless/easily confused but it was never explored or really examined from Bob’s perspective whereas the movie takes that very thing and makes it an insecurity of Bob’s and part of his motivation which is something I vastly prefer

Batman Arkham Videos
@ArkhamVideosOct 25
Batman: Arkham Origins turns 13 today. Brilliant writing, incredible performances, memorable boss fights, and one of the best portrayals of a young Batman. Bruce and Alfred's relationship gave us some of the best scenes in the series.

LETS WAKE IT UP IF DC WASN’T SO POORLY MISHANDLED IT WOULD’VE BEEN ONE OF THE BIGGEST FRANCHISES IN THE WORLD
Vivek@vivek_datttOct 23
The more i get into DC, the more i wonder how tf this isn't the biggest superhero franchise in the world already. The characters, the lore, the sheer amount of stories they can tell. The DC universe is genuinely one of the most insane fictional universe ever created.
