Submitting this book manuscript to my publisher later today. When writing, I have thought of it as a very timely subject for a book, but I am very sad that it is even more so today. Our legal orders face huge challenges. We should work to preserve and develop the rule of law.

Ich habe mit gestern zum ersten Mal die Afrika-/Ethnologie-Ausstellung im Humboldt-Forum angesehen. Mein Fazit: es geht so nicht. Es wird nicht funktionieren. Man muss alles zurückgeben. Es ist eine große Raubsammlung und auch das ehrliche Bemühen um Einordnung reicht nicht. – at Berlin, Germany

Es war etwas voreilig, als deutsche Regierungs- und KulturvertreterInnen in der Vergangenheit verkündeten, es gäbe keine Rückgabeforderungen. Wieder hat man eine Gelegenheit verpasst, proaktiv Tätig zu werden.
