After 6 years of investing across Africa, I’ve finally backed my first Cameroonian company.
Every investment means something, but this one feels personal. It’s a good feeling to back a company from home.

Africans built the pyramids, something white people cannot fully explain to this day, let alone replicate.
Unlike African minerals, they cannot steal them either.
Thousands of years ago, African civilisations mastered mathematics, astronomy, engineering, architecture and advanced construction techniques, producing some of the most extraordinary monuments in human history.
The Great Pyramid of Giza stood as the tallest human-made structure on Earth for nearly 4,000 years.
These were not primitive people stumbling upon stones. They were highly organised societies with extraordinary scientific, architectural and engineering knowledge.
And yet, centuries later, descendants of colonialists have the audacity to call Africans stupid, lazy, intellectually inferior or incapable of producing anything.
Imagine looking at monuments built by Africans thousands of years before your ancestors developed comparable monumental architecture and still having the arrogance to lecture those same Africans about civilisation, intelligence and human achievement.
The historical record speaks for itself.
