This footage is from the very beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. Look at that little Ukrainian boy, walking towards the border in tears, surrounded by families fleeing a Russian invasion. Now consider the extraordinary moral bankruptcy of Trump, Rubio, Hegseth and Musk, whose message to Ukraine increasingly amounts to: “Fuck Ukraine. Russia gets our sympathy.” Meanwhile, Steve Witkoff apparently sees Putin as some sort of humanitarian. Quite remarkable. Most people can distinguish a humanitarian from a man whose army bombs hospitals and forces children to flee their homes. Apparently, this requires a level of intellectual sophistication beyond certain members of the American establishment. It hardly takes a magnificent imagination to work out which side these gentlemen might have found more accommodating in 1939. “Never again” was supposed to mean something. It wasn’t a decorative slogan to be dusted off once a year while making excuses for the next dictator. And to those who admire Russia as some glorious defender of Western civilisation, perhaps try learning something about the country. Russia has millions of Muslim citizens. It is hardly the anti-Muslim paradise some of its Western admirers imagine. Nor does Putin’s dictatorship represent the democratic freedoms they claim to cherish. But then, understanding history, geography or basic human decency does rather spoil the pleasure of having absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. That little boy understood who the aggressor was. Remarkable how many supposedly powerful adults still struggle with it.

Russia will use “Oleshky ceasefire” as another Potemkin village press tour opportunity to whitewash its crimes in the occupied Kherson region. They are already blaming the drone siege on Ukrainians. ⬇️ an excellent summary by @CaolanReports My detailed article is up today
russia is about to use a humanitarian crisis it CAUSED as a PR stunt. Vital to remember that people are still in Oleshky because russia held them hostage as human shields. Putin will try rewrite history & pretend he cares about saving lives. But russia caused this.

Microsoft is pushing passkeys, not just via Microsoft Authenticator Best practice is to always have a passkey on the device you are using Windows? Use Hello macOS? Use Platform SSO Android/iOS? Use Microsoft Authenticator Linux? Use microsoft-identity-broker BYOD? Allow synced
Microsoft is pushing passkeys via Microsoft Authenticator and that's absolutely fine. 👍 But what happens when your phone has no mobile network? I'm currently travelling in France, where Orange, the country's largest mobile network operator, has been down for over 4 hours. Since 11:45 AM, my phone has had no mobile connectivity, making it impossible to approve my Microsoft authentication request on my Mac 🫠 My Mac still has internet access via Ethernet, but that doesn't help when the authentication method relies on a phone that can't connect to the network. Whenever I discuss this kind of scenario with clients, I always get the same response: "That would never happen." Well, here we are. 😅 Never rely on a single authentication method. Always plan for the worst-case scenario and have contingency measures in place. PS: I do have a YubiKey, so I'm not actually locked out. 🙂 PS2: Under normal circumstances, I'd have my work PC with Windows Hello for Business (WHfB), so I wouldn't even have encountered this issue.

Top Gun has Maverick and Goose. MMS has Wingman Sessions! One of the best things about MMS is getting real face time with the people who know their stuff. Our famous Cabana Sessions have been renamed "Wingman Sessions" for MMS Midway! Got a tricky Intune issue? A ConfigMgr mystery? A Windows deployment that seems personally offended by your existence? Bring your questions, connect with the experts, and have those conversations that don't always fit into a regular session. No cockpit experience required. mmsmoa.com/news/midway-facts #MMSMidway #MMSMOA #TopGun

Russian terrorists have killed an infant in a stroller and two women in the Kharkiv region; at least 14 people were injured, including 7 children, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Russians attacked the central park in Nova Vodolaha with a drone—at a time when many people were present, including families with children. Elon Musk and Trump are helping Russia in such horrific attacks.

Steve Jobs’s daughter grew up on $385 a month while he said she wasn’t his. On his deathbed he kept telling her: I owe you one. Lisa was born in 1978 on a farm commune in Oregon. Her mother was Chrisann Brennan, Steve’s girlfriend. Steve said the baby wasn’t his. A DNA test put the probability that he was the father at 94.1%. A court ordered him to pay $385 a month and pay back the welfare her mother had been living on. Days later Apple went public. He was suddenly worth more than $200 million. In 1983 he still told Time magazine that 28% of the male population of the United States could be the father. That same year Apple released a computer called the Lisa. When she asked him if it was named after her, he said: nope, sorry, kid. Years later he told Bono it was. At 14 she moved in with him. He had one condition: she could not see her mother for six months. She asked once if she could have his Porsche when he was done with it. You’re not getting anything, he told her. Nothing. And yet, she says, there was love. She remembers a freezing night when he sat through her boyfriend’s school play without a sweater, because he knew how much it meant to her. At the very end, dying of cancer, he kept apologizing for the time they had missed. I owe you one, he kept saying. I’m so sorry. Did she forgive him? Not at the time. Now, in many ways, yes. We did like each other, she said. I wish there had been more time. He built one of the most valuable companies in the world. The one thing he couldn’t buy back was the years he spent saying she wasn’t his. Can success ever make up for the people you failed on the way? Follow me for more stories like this.
