Upgradeable storage in the new Mac Mini is a big deal. @Apple deserves credit for not soldering or pairing the storage module to the logic board for the sake of making a quick buck.

Editors, are you interested in an incredible learning - and entertainment - experience? Elisabet Ronaldsdottir, ACE and I have done an editing commentary for the original "John Wick" movie that you can sync with the theatrical re-release (out today and this Wednesday) or with a DVD or streaming version. The commentary is 100 minutes long (going into the credits). There are many fascinating behind-the-scenes revelations (like how Desperate Housewives made the film possible!) You can download the file here:

And if you find it valuable or entertaining or hopefully both, you can pay me through my Venmo: @artofthecut or my PayPal: [email protected] and I will share it equitably with @ericedottie.

We’re big fans of little things, even when those little things are in fact very big. Take, for example, these miniatures we made for #BladeRunner2049, Denis Villeneuve’s 2017 sci-fi film set against the neon-glow of a rain-drenched Los Angeles.

mAh is short for milliamp-hour. There are two uses of “mAh”—the casual use, where it represents energy capacity, and the correct use where it represents charge capacity.

Every so often we present our artists with a challenge: a for-us-only exercise to refine their skills and try new techniques. For crew member Jerome Morris, this included imagining what interplanetary law enforcement might look like.
