No. They’re closely related but not the same.
With rape play, participants act out a well planned sexual assault scenario e.g one party acts a violent robber, the other a victim.
With CNC, you just give consent to not needing consent, e.g you could be doing the dishes and your partner grabs you, bends you over & slides in without checkin if you’re down or not, or you’re watching tv & your partner comes, takes out your epon & starts suckin without checking if you’re in the mood or not.
Closely related but the distinction is important cos some of you (not me) already practice ‘milder’ forms of CNC esp in relationships, you just don’t know it.
