My Coway air purifier is also glowing red, indicating the air in this loft is hazardous. Not surprised, given the exposed brick walls and age of this building. I want OFF this ride.

I love the PNW, but this air quality is enough to make me consider moving. This is the 5th year in a row. The new normal abnormal. For those who don't live here, across Lake Washington to the east, Microsoft's campus is sporting numbers in the 300s.

500,000 tires were put underwater in Puget Sound in the 70s to create fish habitats. A recent study revealed the decomposing tires are poisoning sea life including Coho salmon. komonews.com/news/local/wash…

Groups working to remove thousands of tires from Puget Sound

The Washington Scuba Alliance (WSA) has teamed up with Coastal Sensing and Survey to locate 500,000 tires that were put underwater in Puget Sounds in the 70s.
