We are relieved & happy to receive Nushrratt Bharuccha back in India at Mumbai airport. The last 36 hours were full of tension and anxiety. It was a very happy moment for Dashami to premiere our film #Akelli in #Israel in Haifa International Film Festival | פסטיבל הסרטים הבינלאומי חיפה just three days ago. Nushrratt was present there to grace the occasion. The very next morning of the event, the deadly attack on Isreal took place & the war broke out. It was a moment of anxiety and fear. There were no flights available to return to India, no cars on roads of Tel Aviv as everything was shut. We have been constantly in touch with Nushrratt and the Israel cultural ministry official as well as Indian High Commission. Ms Nurit Tinari from the ministry of external affairs of Isreal oorganised a vehicle for the airport and ensured a safe passage. Equally helpful was Mr Vinod Pawar of the Indian High Commission in Tel Aviv. We are very thankful to Israel government and the Indian High Commission for their help and efforts to safeguard the guests. Special thanks to Luv Ranjan for making last moment arrangements. Today’s returning to India would be a never before for Nushrratt and for Dashami. @Nushrratt @TsahiHalevi @NitinPVaidya @DashamiOfficial #VickySidana @aparnavpwoman @PMOIndia @narendramodi @KobbiShoshani @NaorGilon @DrSJaishankar
