I built this multiplayer game in a weekend with my own engine.
Co-op survivors: up to 4 players against a horde, smooth at 150 ms ping, on Mac, Windows, mobile and web.
My own netcode: prediction, lag compensation, ~1000 enemies in ~23 KB/s per player.

The low latency is partly due to the point-to-point protocol between Jetson Nano and motion control MCU.
High priority packets interrupt low priority ones. When done, the state machine picks up where it left off.
The source is cross-platform and optimized to fit in the MCU.
