If the Democrats had really already succeeded in their project of demographically reconstructing the USA to ensure their success in elections, they would have switched to vociferously supporting election integrity by now. Tellingly, the opposite is the case.

Art Deco, last echo of our former selves. Already stiffening and angular, growing brutal in its mass, this was the final movement styled by people who remembered life before the Great War. This is how they looked back and you can tell that something very hard happened to them.
Tulsa, Oklahoma has some great examples of Art Deco. I hope the style makes a comeback.

Bill Gates’s former scientific advisor and employee of seven years, Eliezer Masliah, was recently discovered to have fabricated hundreds of Alzheimers papers. He was on the board of the Gates Foundation’s Alzheimer’s advisory group.
Alzheimer’s science and development are finally catching up to the disease. But right now, the breakthroughs are moving faster than the system built to deliver them, which means a lot of patients aren’t seeing the benefits yet. Fixing that is the next big frontier in Alzheimer’s.

El Salvador is rightly famed for its strides on public order, but most people don’t grasp the brutal extent of previous gang rule or the complex dividends peace affords. All kinds of mundane and essential public goods re-materialize now that people can walk around, ride transit, and go about their lives without being terrorized. This historic square used to be patrolled by warring gangs, and housed an informal economy of corrugated-tin shanties where subsistence street vendors forfeited much of their meager income to “protection” rackets. No formal economy is possible if thugs might burn or smash or sabotage any capital improvement you make. Now, there are ordinary shops lining this downtown area — and even early Christmas decorations.

The thing about prophets and predictions is that no one likes a man who is right about something too early.

Why is there so much early voting and mail-in voting? But you can leave work on Nov 3 to go vote anyway? Do they get more voting fraud done this way

One of the fall back defenses people have made about @VivekGRamaswamy's ad attacking Acton is that Acton's mother just said she lied about living in a tent. Cledith Arthur's 1978 arrest warrant lists Terrace Lake Park, Route 7 as his address

The Culinary Dark Web...
New York Times story about Peating as "Dark Nutrition". I guess they're trying to frame it as the nutritional version of the "Dark Enlightenment" or the "Intellectual Dark Web".

Slotkin is a CIA transplant who got inserted into the US congress as part of a pilot program to get former spooks into elected office to subvert populism She’s a fairly unremarkable sociopathic narcissist (typical for CIA) and she’s just doing DARVO tactics here, its boring
U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin says she’s prepared for a situation in which the Trump administration attempts to change the outcome of the election: “Right in the last two weeks of the election, they somehow come up with a national security incident that only they can protect us from.”

schizo thought: I was thinking about Nosferatu and I realized vampires are power fantasies for demons that wish they could take physical form. Maybe movies are meant to entertain them also.

Replying to @WomanDefiner
The purpose of electoral politics is to hang stuff like Iran, vivek, epstein, et al around the necks of the most ambitious reformers, to discredit them. It succeeds because everyone overrates his own ability as a machiavellian.
