CSS1 was formalized in 1996, and Sass launched in 2006. That means Sass has existed for well over half the lifetime of CSS!

Contrary to recent blog posts, LibSass is alive and well, and not going any where ✌️ We released 3.5 compatibility earlier this year, and we're already landing upcoming 3.6 features 🎉 We're also super excited about recent Dart Sass 1.0 💖
