I’m grateful to the Science Media Centre and all the journalists who took the time to understand and communicate the science with care and accuracy. Pregnancy is already a time of huge responsibility, emotion, and – often – anxiety. That’s why it’s essential we communicate evidence clearly, responsibly, and without fearmongering.
