People will do anything to avoid educating their children themselves, even expecting biblical illiterates to teach their children the Bible.
NEW: Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) warns Oklahoma should not let public school educators teach the Bible.
"I want it to be taught by someone that was taught the Bible themselves, too. I think it’s a slippery slope when you put it in the hands of teachers that may not be believers, that’s going to be teaching the word that can easily be taken out of context."
Do you think he is right?
Driving thorough my city this evening - everyone out and about is too old to be trick or treating and I don’t want ANY of them coming to my house!
I too am fed up with @trustage. I’m getting a runaround similar to the Nigerian prince scam.

I used to be @HomeDepot ‘s biggest evangelist for home delivery. It’s great when things go right. When things go don’t, they don’t take accountability. Now I have to do WAY more work just to straighten things out after a missed delivery.

Elon Musk flips a vehicle upside down and everyone claps and cheers. But when I do it, suddenly I'm "recklessly endangering children" and "unfit to be a school bus driver".
Boy I'm pissed. @PaycorInc gave data to a company called Corestream who contacted all my employees to sell them benefits that we already purchase through another provider. They used data that we thought was privately held (home email address) to drum up business.
Now I can't be sure that their social security numbers, compensation, etc. are not private.
Looks like I'll be looking for a new payroll company.
Apparently @PaycorInc is fine with using my employees’ private data for their indiscriminate marketing. I am not. I give payroll companies 3 strikes and this is two. But I’m on the hunt for my next payroll company.
FWIW @Paychex used up their three strikes within two months and I dropped them like a hot potato. @Paychex has recently acquired @PaycorInc. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

Women are so upset with Shane Gillis… you’d think he had strangled his 3 kids to death.
I hope the people getting bent out of shape about Aslan being voiced by a woman realize how absurd it is for their pastor to be a woman too...

I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin."
- George Washington, 1778

I see a lot of Democrats are VERY angry about the public execution of a convicted terrorist and murderer.
If you are one of those Democrats, I think I know how to change your mind. Just pretend he’s a popular Christian activist who debated college kids. You loved that execution.
