High School leadoff hitter sees 8 pitches, strikes out swinging. Someone calls it a bad at-bat. Wrong. He made the starter throw 8 pitches to open the game. That’s a QUALITY AT-BAT. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand baseball.

Coachable athletes become employable adults.

Coping with failure isn’t easy. The players who can “flush” failure with ease aren’t always born with the skill. It’s a developed skill that takes time. What Harper talks about here is gold and nothing but a coping mechanism.
Bryce Harper on rebounding after misjudging a fly ball in the seventh inning... "I was thinking about Krew, my son, about what I would say to him in that situation."

After something doesn’t go your way, ask yourself - what would I say to a much younger player in my scenario? Your answer should be nothing but encouraging and at that point, you’re experiencing positive self thoughts. To you, from you.

I don’t think you’ll be surprised by how many college coaches choose to not send their hitters to play for Victoria next summer.

Everyone trying to mog Skenes has never been in a pro level locker room. First, pitchers are bizarre. Everything about them is backwards and just plain weird. Second, you will NEVER find a jacked starting pitcher. Why? Everything for them is about stretching and range of motion. And Third, if you lined up every starting pitcher in the MLB he is prob top 25% body comp….they stretch, drink beer, golf, and throw smoke from 60’6” Haters gonna hate.

I'm lucky with my travel baseball parents. They DON’T coach from the stands, chirp at opposing players or coaches, argue with umpires, complain about playing time, or drink at games. They cheer for our team, respect the game, and let the coaches coach. Very rare these days.

2028 Grads across the country Aug. 1 has come and gone. Maybe your phone blew up with interest and even offers. Maybe you got a few. Maybe you didn't get any. So what. The work is never done 😤 Stop worrying about the opinions of others and lock in on the things you can control: • Strength training • Skill development • Recovery • Nutrition • Your inner circle • Your work ethic • Consistency Your recruiting timeline is yours. The opinion YOU have of yourself will always matter more than the opinions of others. 🙌⚾️

Bode Smith - 2028 two way player who can swing it, play all over the field, advanced base runner and is a workhorse on mound. Bode has developed into a big arm this summer and offers a high ceiling developing at a rapid pace. A dude who should have eyes on him moving forward
Had a great time competing this weekend at @Bullpenevents despite some tough losses. Finished 4/13 on the weekend with 4 RBIs and a BB. On the mound I had a solid outing going 5IP allowing 0ER and only 2H with 7K. @nrfield @PrepBaseballIL @CoachSutor @foulkesie20 @FE_Baseball
