I've no intention of going anywhere, but BS has pulled out in front as the clear Twitter alternative, so if you want to follow me there, you here.
Pinning this.
There comes a point where the sheer number of toss-up races and Dem leads sort of overwhelms the chances of a polling error saving the GOP in every race, and that's where we're at now.
They've lost North Carolina. Michigan, Texas, Ohio, and Maine are getting away from them. Alaska, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Carolina all either have narrow Dem leads or are toss-ups.
They are gonna need a sizable, consistent polling error across six of these 10 states just to keep it at 50.

I refused to believe in South Carolina but clearly something is happening here.
Doesn't mean we'll win, but I guess we can add it to the board of races to watch.
(MS NOW) "Train wreck": Republicans panic over South Carolina Senate race as Trump swoops in
Mace told MS NOW that, in both public and private polling, Graham is up in some surveys and down in others, prompting concern among South Carolina Republicans.
“It’s not good,” she said.
“It’s a f—-ing train wreck,” Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., said of the race on Wednesday. “It’s a mess.”

Where almost at the end of the part of the day where Republicans gain ground and they still haven't surpassed a 2% lead. What the fuck is going on.
They're gonna need to finish strong tomorrow if they’re gonna hit 3% at this rate.

There is no longer really any empirical case to make for Republicans having a good (or even middling) night on Tuesday, so their go-to arguments are now limited to this:
— Citing Trump-era presidential year polling error working in their favor (ignoring the fact that midterm and odd-year polling has not had that bias, or has worked in Democrats’ favor)
— Praying that undecided Republican Trump disapprovers come home, rather than stay home
Final CNN polls in 2024:
• MICHIGAN: Kamala 48-43
• WISCONSIN: Kamala 51-45
• PENNSYLVANIA: Tied 48-48

Democracy isn’t just “policy I like”, it requires real competitive elections, among other things, which Cuba doesn’t have
But setting that aside, the Cuban state’s housing policy has been a disaster. Not just under building but banning the legal housing market for decades

Very strong polls for Democrats in individual Senate races over the past couple of days. Polls can be wrong, that's what models/probabilities/markets are for, but I think we're past the point where you can honestly say "polls show the Senate is too close to call".

We'll see, but the polls out of Texas are earthquake stuff.
No TX Dem has polled as well as Talarico at the end of a Senate campaign since 1988.
No TX GOP Sen nominee in the 2000s has been as unpopular as Paxton.
Trump's the most unpopular GOP pres pre-midterm in the 2000s.

This is not what an apartheid regime is.
Black parties weren't just informally avoided in coalition agreements in South Africa, blacks were barred from voting.
Also, 15% of Arabs vote for the "Jewish" parties, plus Ra'am isn't really excluded from coalition governments.
