Gardening 2024 thread.
Garlic and shallots already on the ground and growing (planted last fall).
Today planted peas, carrots, beets, cabbage, onions.
Hope youre out there enjoying the west @pigliondog here's a photo of my i84 eastbound travels. Unfortunately drove through slc yesterday. Ka chunk ka chuck is right.
3rd quarter every game for byu, including and since ND, had been horrific.
ND - dropped punt. Botched fake punt.
Asu- 3 and out. Fumble on next drive. That was it!
Ucf vs byu.
Byu could not get a grip on the throat. Giving up long 3rd downs. Couldn't get to the qb. Not finding rhythm on offense.
Ucf beat byu in a lot of small ways. And mostly byu beat themselves.
Instead of therapy, have you considered renting an excavator and just moving some dirt for an hour or two?
Sad news.
But, at this time of year worth mentioning that Sir Patrick Steward gave us one of the best performances of Ebenezer Scrooge in "a Christmas Carol" (1999).
All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
Today I learned. Nothing will sharpen your focus faster than spraying yourself in the eyes with thd foam spray cleaner.
Is insulating floor joice end walls standard practice in a new home build? If not, why not?
Corner cutting is killing us financially and economically.
Im not going to name names. But I was dating my wife, who lived in sugarhouse, in 2006 when byu beat utah. The next fast Sunday I was visiting my wife's ward and a very prominent utah player got up in fast&testimony meeting and discussed how hard the last week had been
He and his wife, like treason, bore testimony of the savior and how life's difficulties can be overcome with Him.
Instead of being angry, it softened my heart towards this player. Ive always been a fan of him since that time.
End of 1st half is when I started to doubt a win. Bear getting picked and letting them drive the field for a td was disappointing.
Id rather lose to ucf if it means beating utah than the other way around.
Here's hoping byu gets the win in slc.
Today was humbling. Will the boys come our hungry this week?
The only defense of this ive seen is running the vall kept the clock moving. And considering how regulation ended, bleeding clock helped.
Tough to understand the coaching decision to not do 2 minute offense and try to go down for the game winning field goal. You get a goal line stand and instead of trying to use the last two minutes you try to kill them despite the opponent having time outs. So you find yourself subject to a potentially game winning field goal the other way and over time that is a veritable coin flip most times. Most issues I have were players making mistakes, but that seemed like a major head scratcher coaching decision.
I really think that those who want to see the continuation of the Ukraine war have mo idea how many lives are being lost needlessly.
End the war.
Give putin the donbass (which would have certainly voted to join russia).
Democracy will be fine.
