I'm glad more people are waking up to the horrible treatment Olandria has been receiving for months now over lies and wild spread misinformation because she wants to do better for herself . But she will prevail trust
Jackie Aina speaks out in support of Olandria after seeing people mock her desire to be a positive representation for Black women. Jackie questions why Black women are criticized whether they speak up, stay silent, or simply show up as themselves. She emphasizes that Black women in entertainment deserve to be celebrated for their efforts rather than constantly ridiculed.

Africa, Burkina Faso, will introduce the Haitian Revolution into its school curriculum for the 2026-2027 school year, as part of efforts to teach more about colonialism and the fight for freedom. Students will learn how enslaved Haitians fought slavery and French colonial rule, how Haiti won independence in 1804, and the key decisions, strategies and actions of revolutionary leaders. They will also study the successes, challenges and mistakes during and after the struggle. The full revision of textbooks is still pending, as the updating of materials is ongoing. This is good news for both countries. Haiti’s revolution is one of the most important events in world history, but it is often overlooked in schools. Teaching it in Burkina Faso will help a new generation understand what Haitians accomplished and how it changed history. The connection is also historic. Many Haitians know Burkina Faso’s leader Thomas Sankara for his anti-imperialist views and fight against inequality. Now young people in Burkina Faso will learn about Haiti’s leaders like Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines. This creates a chance for both countries to learn from each other. Haitians can continue learning about African leaders, while Burkinabè students can better understand Haiti’s contribution to freedom. By including the Haitian Revolution, Burkina Faso is showing that Haiti’s history deserves recognition. It can also build mutual respect and strengthen ties between future Haitian and Burkinabè leaders. The real impact will depend on how it is taught and whether students get an accurate account, including achievements, decisions, mistakes and consequences. Haiti and Burkina Faso have different histories but share struggles over freedom, sovereignty and foreign domination. Helping young people understand each other’s history today could lay the foundation for stronger relations in the future.

There are some very complex Geopolitical manoeuvres taking place in the Sahel region at present, and one needs to pay very close attention to them, in order to figure out what exactly is going on. We are presently dealing with many actors, and we need to look at things closely to see which actors are responsible for some of the havoc that we are seeing in the last week or so. We have Algeria -Niger on one hand, their new military partnership and the potential of Algerian troop deployment in Nigerien territory. Then the Morcocco and Western Sahara axis, and Algeria's opposition and spat with Morocco in that regards . Then the Algeria -UAE crisis and Algeria cutting diplomatic ties with UAE. Then the UAE and Chad particularly close ties, and the UAE use of Chad as a transit point for supply of weapons to the Sudanese Genocidal racist RSF, who are fighting the Sudanese government and are widely believe to be responsible for the racist genocidal slaughter of Africans in Darfur Western Sudan.. It seems to me, that the incident two days ago, in which Chad fired missiles into Niger, which resulted in the deaths of two Nigerien civilians, were the result of UAE potentially retaliating on Niger through Chad, for Niger's new partnership agreement with Algeria, or it could well be the case that France is seeking to establish a new front, using its new found partnership with Chad, to attack Niger, and set the scene or a pretext for a wider conflict.. Africans have interest in the Situation in Sudan, and many of us are very angry about the role the UAE is playing in that conflict. However, we should not involve ourselves in UAE -Algeria- Morocco conflict, nor should Chad be used as a proxy for France and the UAE, to fight Niger or Algeria. UAE has interests in Niger, due to its partnership with Algeria, and France has interests in Niger, due to its imperialistic aspirations. Whatever the case may be, we must exercise utmost caution and be vigilant while we establish who is really responsible. The entire AES space is doing extremely will, in addressing the core issues affecting the wellbeing of its citizens, we cant allow these warring factions to use Niger as the ground for settling their scores.
🇳🇪🇹🇩 According to a statement from the Nigerien government, an airstrike carried out on October 24, 2026, from Chadian territory with the alleged involvement of France resulted in two deaths among civilians and several injuries. Following these events, #Niamey summoned the #Chad ambassador to notify him of its official protest. The Nigerien government also claims to reserve the right to take "all necessary measures" to defend its territory, population, and interests. It also states that it wants to take the international community to the witness. 🗞️ RTN Chad is playing an extremely dangerous game, allowing France to strike Niger from its territory, will certainly not end well at all.

In addition to this, according to my observation, Most Black people don’t really have a problem with white people controlling our lives, they just want them to be nicer to us that’s all. They don’t have a problem with white supremacy, just the execution of it.
I keep telling people, most don’t share my opinions about racism. I don’t believe White people will ever change their attitude and behavior towards Black people. As a result of that, count me out of all protest politics.
