Women should have the right to discuss women’s rights. It is not hate or bigotry to do so. #IStandWithJKRowling #IStandWithJKR #ILoveJKRowling Period.

Women aren't failing to recognise a new and unfamiliar kind of woman. We are recognising an old and all too familiar kind of man.
A parent’s job is not to become a “rainbow-clad, parade-cheering ally” on command. It’s to love their child enough to ask difficult questions, consider risks, and make decisions they believe are in their child’s best interest, especially when it comes to irreversible medical procedures.

This is the "trans rights" paradox.
They want the rights of the other sex.
But they don't want either sex to have sex-based rights or single-sex spaces, or even single-sex language.
They want to be treated as the opposite sex in a world that doesn't recognise sex.

Trans people want the rights of the other sex, to be treated as the other sex, to be called the other sex, etc.

6'4" male athlete Matthew "Nova" Politte has just won the "women's" championship title in the Pro 55+ division at the 2026 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships.
One reason these men join the women's field, aside from the obvious male advantage they have, is that the women's field is also most often smaller than the men's.
Politte beat just two women in his category to steal this title, along with a $600 prize, while he would have had to contend with 35 other men in the Men's Pro 55+ category.
Politte has stolen $22,900 from female disc golfers. It's not likely he would have won a penny competing against male peers.
John Oliver ridicules women for caring about disc golf. Yes, @iamjohnoliver, the women who play disc golf care about it, and they would love it if you would be willing to pay back the $172,206+ men have stolen from them in this sport.

"Men rape women, so women should shut up and let men play in their sports"

It will never stop being astounding that a bunch of men said “we are women!” and a bunch of people, including those in government, said “ok!” and then demonized any woman who said “well this is obviously bullsh-t.”
It’s not hateful, phobia, or an attack, it is reality. Women being able to call out male behavior and identify those men as men is fundamental to women’s rts.
The fact that this Congressperson wants to make speaking the truth unsayable is what is actually truly unacceptable.

Parents should NEVER be kept in the dark about transgender-related medical decisions involving their children.
When the state tries to step in between parents and their children, parents deserve their day in court to challenge that attempt to undermine their basic parental rights.
This week, the Department of Justice filed a merits-stage amicus brief in the Supreme Court, arguing that parents have standing to sue when the state tries to circumvent their control over what medical services their child may access.
Parenting belongs to parents—not the state. And when the state tries to seize the role of a parent, parents should be able to sue to defend their constitutional right to decide how best to raise their own children.

You might not really believe that men can get pregnant, but pretending that you do will make you popular with other people who also pretending to believe this in order to be popular with other people who also pretending to believe it, and a couple of genuinely insane people too.

I’ve seen this so many times. The aggression is their cognitive dissonance showing itself. The moment they’re asked to justify their men-can-be-women-if-they-want position they feel uncomfortable qualms, so they attack.

Zooey Zephyr argues that it's his right to undress in front of and with women.
Because he castrated himself, he says that he has "female genitalia."
Women are not castrated men.

Men being better on average at running fast and throwing stuff is not women being "biologically weaker and less capable". Women's bodies do amazing things men's bodies don't.

Nobody needs a “trans invasion” of the WNBA for this to matter. We now let an unscientific, unfalsifiable concept—“gender identity”—override sex in law & policy.
NY makes no distinction between Kanter self-identifying as a woman & any other man doing the same. If both claim a female 'gender identity', neither can be told that identity is invalid. The law, in fact, requires full affirmation of these identity claims.
There is no “trans invasion” of the WNBA—that simply doesn't exist. What does exist, however, is the ongoing, relentless attack on trans kids and trans people in all parts of life.

A journalist with integrity…rare but heartening; I hope he stays in journalism & gets another job in the field.
After 11 years as a sports columnist at the Seattle Times, I have decided to resign. It was entirely my choice, and it was not an easy one. The impetus was the Times declining to run a column I wrote from the perspective of two female student athletes who were opposed to competing against biological males. It was one of several pieces of mine that had been spiked, and I no longer felt like I could properly do my job as a columnist. I lay out the situation in greater detail in the link below, but I want to say that I enjoyed my time with the paper, find the talent there to be immense, and have no animosity toward anyone who works there. It was just time for a change.
