"Addai-Robinson calls Eärien’s arc one of her favorites of the season. “Very early on, we told [Horvath] we had a hell of a story for her and she hit it right out of the park. She’s going to surprise a lot of people," McKay added." I NEVER LOST FAITH IN MY GIRL

The problem with fandoms like IWTV is antiBlackness is so 2nd nature to y'all you find nothing wrong with it being weaponized and you don't find it insidious for a writers room with no Black people to use it. A show with dark themes can exist without resorting to lazy racism

it’s always funny when people try to make “artist-centered sites” because SO often that translates to “site non-artists never have motivation to use” which ALWAYS kills the site because you need fans AND artists for creative sites to thrive

you need to see their demands for an 'author centered fanfic website' that include: comment-paywalling reading fics and banning anyone who OP doesn't like specifically. i feel like if your this neurotic about posting on the online, just don't post!

it’s so powerful that maege mormont, a willful northern woman who ruled her own house, named her daughter after lyanna stark, a girl who shared the same willfulness and competed against men in the joust. it hits harder when you remember how loyal little lyanna was to the starks.

if they made artfully illustrated covers for mass market paperbacks again instead of the boring corporate minimalism bullshit we have now we wouldn’t have this problem. people yearn for beautiful, affordable books

not every book needs to be a special edition or have sprayed edges or extra chapters or exclusive illustrations but that’s all you see when you go into any bookshop lately… they’re beautiful yes but what happened to affordable books?

There are much older celedriel posts and ramblings, but I get why celedriels were annoyed at the time. We deserved better than PJ's portrayal of them. teapawt.net/lorienarchive/status/2…
