And the most crazy part of this story? He says he arrived home with approximately ยฃ40โยฃ50 in his pocket! After 28 years of walking around the world. ๐
Karl Bushby has arrived home in Hull after walking 30,000 miles over the last 28 years. He set off from southern Chile in 1998, aged 28, promising to walk all the way home.
Sky's @ShingiMararike caught up with Karl as he headed home to see his mum

New week.
This morning I am thinking about my parents and kindred who have since gone ahead. I am praying and hoping that through our prayers and indulgences of the season, they may enjoy perpetual joy in heaven . #AllSoulsDay do make the time to go to church

Just yesterday, our daughter in law had a CT scan that showed a lesion on her pancreas and several lesions in her small bowel. We prayed and asked others to pray. This evening after a second CT scan and MRI, nothing was there. This is a miracle from God in just over 24 hours.

Work on our public service systems until there's no need to "know someone" in a gov't ministry, department or agency, to be served.
I was happy to receive my new NID @NIRA_Ug with no prior calls. And it's the men in uniform that assist with directions ๐ค

Guests should clean up after themselves, but they should not have to earn their checkout by completing a cleaning checklist after paying a substantial cleaning fee.
Recently Iโve seen a lot of people complaining about being asked to clean an Airbnb when theyโve already paid a cleaning fee
As a host, I find this attitude quite worrying
My wife and I rent out the apartment in Germany. We charge a โฌ145 cleaning fee, and we still expect guests to:
1. Strip the beds and start a wash, separating whites from colours
2. Wash, dry and put away all dishes
3. Sweep and mop the floors
4. Take out all rubbish, separating paper, cardboard, clear glass, coloured glass, plastics, metal, organic waste and residual waste
5. Take bottles with a deposit to the supermarket return machine.
6. Send photos showing the apartment is ready before the 8:30am checkout
These tasks must be completed before departure. If you have an early flight, allow time the evening before
The cleaning fee pays for professional cleaning. It does not pay for someone to pick up after you
Here in Europe, we teach children to leave a place as they found it
I donโt think itโs unreasonable to expect the same from adults on holiday

My end of the week thoughts
1. Never ignore your health for your career
2. Dont spend a great deal of your time and money trying to impress people
3. Forget constant lifestyle upgrades. They are not necessary. Invest invest invest.
4. Do not think your job will be there forever. Get skills to give you the edge
5. DO YOU ๐ฏ. Momento Mori
