This is Cropify, a website I created for cropping and saving images.
I built it last year (2024) to learn how the Cropper.js npm package works.
Check it out: cropify.vercel.app

Progressive Web Apps (PWA) are the ultimate secret weapon to deliver at lightning speed and beat your competitor on a market saturated of clingy & feature-lacking native apps 🙃
Web apps is the future and Korru will freely list all web apps

The word “scalable” must be exhausted from how developers use it. Apparently every developer builds scalable apps and websites now 😂
There’s a difference between thinking through an implementation based on your current knowledge and actually verifying whether that implementation is the best or correct approach.
This guy thought about the problem and implemented a solution. Instead of mocking his design pattern, why not just explain the flaws and guide him toward a better approach.
Your registration endpoint shouldn’t leave orphaned users in the database when the welcome email fails to send.
The problem: user creation lives in PostgreSQL. Email sending lives in an external service. You can’t wrap both in a single database transaction.
The fix: if the email fails, delete the user and their invitation. This is the SAGA pattern. When a multi-system operation fails partway through, you compensate by undoing the completed steps.
Built this today in Go with Resend for email delivery and PostgreSQL transactions for the rollback.
Built a heavy branch (~20k lines added), learned the hard way, and split it into smaller, focused branches.
I’ve grown stronger working with branches now.
Small branches scale better.

Why I Still Feel Excited About Programming
Every time I open my laptop to start coding, there’s this spark I can’t explain.
Even on rough days, I still find myself coding for hours.
The joy mostly comes from writing code I understand and can explain clearly.
But honestly, it’s more than that, it’s my love for learning.

Currently learning Bash. It’s surprising how much productivity you unlock once you’re comfortable in the terminal.
If I were to reimplement this Stripe Connect from scratch, I’d approach many things differently.
After everything I’ve seen while implementing it for company business types, I’m about to refactor a large part of the codebase.
Favour, just like I always say, thank you for pushing me beyond the limits I once thought I had.
You’re not just a friend, but a hardworking person who constantly inspires me to be the best version of myself. Thank you again for that.
Cheers to an even brighter future. To the moon🚀
Special shoutout to you guys.
Thank you for inspiring me to keep going.

One of the cool features I worked on recently was integrating Stripe Connect’s custom flow for individual business type.
I’m almost done with the company flow too.
It’s been challenging, but really fun to build.

Q4 discounts are the best time to lower CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) on yourself.
@udemy and @coursera are practically giving it away right now at 85% and 40% off respectively.
Don't wait for Jan 1st. Buy one of these for 2026 ROI:
1. Generative AI / LLM Engineering
2. Cloud Security
3. Rust or Solidity
Don't just buy them.
Finish them with discipline & consistency!

This is also the best time to get that Udemy course. I think it’s always cheaper in this season
I used to love git merge, but ever since I started using rebase confidently, I haven’t needed to merge in a long time.
First time I used MongoDB Memory Server for integration tests, I cleared all data in the test DB. It was painful.
My mistake was passing the test DB URL into the Mongo server.
