Imagine wearing the name of a Jew killing terrorist on your shirt while preaching about how you're all about love and kindness.
Macklemore is an idiot. But that doesn't mean he doesn't know exactly what he's doing.

AES, Wajahat, Mehdi, Cenk, and especially Hasan are just *conservative white men.*
Same misogyny same homophobia, same antisemitism, same anti-Blackness.
The only reason they‘re not Republicans is because *they are not Christian.*
They may be entirely understood by this.
My contempt for AES is profound, but he’s clearly talking about brown parents with insanely high expectations that can never be met and a lack of emotional support in the home.
He also speaks like a man who’d like to be a Republican but understands he’d never be respected there. It’s likely why he engages in the leftism grift.

My input on the BPD discourse is this: my mother has it. It has rippled through our family like a tsunami. Her younger sister has cPTSD from her behavior. So do I.
The only forgiveness I can offer her is the acknowledgement that she did her best, but her capacity is so limited that her best was incredibly abusive. She will never get better.
Being around her is triggering for me, because I can't trust any sign of warmth or affection without looking for the blade hidden among the tenderness, waiting for me to drop my guard.
I seem to trigger her, too. She's always worse around me than my brothers. Perhaps it's because I'm her only daughter, and thus, being around me makes her feel something about herself that she doesn't like.
Whatever it is, I gave up trying to fix it a long time ago. I don't feel any shame in not trying to repair our relationship. I know my estrangement hurts her, but so does my presence, and the latter hurts me, too. There is no better mother under all her mental illness. I've spent too long mourning an empty grave for a fantasy that never existed.
And that's the real tragedy of BPD for a lot of people with a loved one with it. I don't judge people who stay away from those with complicated histories with someone with BPD. My distance has been healing for me. Perhaps it might be for my mother one day. Heavens knows that my presence did nothing for her.

It is hard to read defenses of Mao in the West and not come away with the impression that a lot of them
rest on the premise “well, THOSE lives don’t really matter.”

So much of left-wing antisemitism sounds like "Vatican city needs to be destroyed."

do not believe for a second that antizionism be not Jew-hatred when every single tenet of the movement is intended to unconditionally dehumanize Jews, right down to defining Zionism not as how most Jews define it, but as 'Jewish supremacy'

Hasan Piker's bullshit today probably hurts AES more than anything Haley Stevens said.
There are now pictures of him campaigning with a guy who now says that a community of Jews in Michigan, whose community was attacked, is a white supremacist community.
Thank God the election is Tuesday, not a few more weeks from now, and it's a blue year. But going forward, stay the fuck away from Hasan Piker.

Quick Lesson in Antisemitic Tropes:
The idea that Jews are "acting as victim" is a time honored trope. It inverts the blame onto the victim of the discrimination. They want to claim Jews are so powerful that they can manufacture outrage but do it to make themselves weak victims

🚨🚨 Abdul El-Sayed surrogate Hasan Piker crashes out over El-Sayed’s canvassers knocking doors in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Piker compares it to “going to that like Klan KKK neighborhood to stump for like a Black candidate.”
“It’s racial supremacy. It’s Jewish supremacy. What do you think it is? Yeah, clip it and post it.”
Piker, a dual citizen who grew up in Turkey, then rages at a Jewish Democrat in Oakland County who says she is voting for Mike Rogers: “If it’s so dangerous, go live in Israel… You fucking idiot. You fucking moron… You fucking psycho.”

Piker isn't the worst or even a particular, unusual, or interesting far-left figure compared with all the other commies I've ever seen or engaged with. The only thing that makes him stand out has been the push to sanitize and legitimize him via the media.

The same way the left is willingly allying with White Christian Nationalists, like Carlson and MTG, is the exact same way they’d partner with radical Islamist to achieve their goal of destroying the west.
This is why I have absolutely zero trust in the DSA and left.
Norman Finkelstein, Cornel West, and Richard Wolff discuss how Tucker Carlson has changed recently, with West saying that we should give Tucker a chance to prove he's really changed for the better. West says that Tucker is going through a "spiritual transformation" and Wolff says that Tucker becoming more religious could make him pro-immigration and against mass deportation.
Cornel West: "Now, he's changed again. People do change, I believe in people changing. And when they change, you give them a chance to be tried and true."
Richard Wolff: "I suspect Mr. Carlson may have an epiphany around his squaring the religion with that deportation."
