π¨π£οΈ π‘ππͺ: Wayne Rooney with a MASSIVE RANT against current Manchester United squad! π³
"I was a player who.. yea obviously I could score a goal and had some abilities.. but at least I F*CKING RAN and WORKED HARD. These players are NOT DOING IT!"
"I WOULD LOVE TO GO INTO THAT DRESSING ROOM AND SIT THEM ALL DOWN AND SAY: "WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU ALL DOING?!"
"YOU THINK YOU DESERVE TO WEAR THIS MANCHESTER UNITED SHIRT BY JUST WALKING AROUND THAT PITCH?!"
"I'D PUT A F*CKING FIRE UP THEIR A**"
ROONEY was a fiery beas. I wonder which Manchester United player currently can do this for the team? Most especially the attacking players! π #MUFC

Gary Neville on #mufcβs decision to keep Michael Carrick:
βI'm surprised but I'm happy because I was absolutely certain what I witnessed on Sunday would be the end of Michael.
It looked like when he was walking around at the end on his own, with his players behind him, that it was a goodbye lap.Β
He was waving to the fans in an almost apologetic manner but also as a goodbye. I am surprised that ultimately still in a job, but I'm happy with it because it was very difficult on Sunday.Β
How it's going to go over the next couple of weeks, I have no idea. I hope he can get those players playing for him because they haven't played for him in the last few weeks.β [sky]

π¨π£οΈ @FabrizioRomano on why Manchester United decided to give Michael Carrick more time:
βThe intention from the club is to put responsibility on the PLAYERS.
There are people on Unitedβs board who believe the common thinking around the club is that when things donβt go well, okay, the manager is out, and the players arenβt held responsible.
United want to show this group of players that they also need to take RESPONSIBILITY.β

Michael Carrick stays in charge of Manchester United after talks yesterday including Ratcliffe, Glazers, Berrada, Wilcox.
Surprising call after Bournemouth but there is clarity now, in short-term at least. Fascinating few days ahead β¬οΈ #MUFC

π¨ποΈ | Harry Maguire asked about conversations among the players:
"If those conversations happen, it will remain private. We want to do more, be better, and get better results.
"At the moment it's nowhere near good enough, and something NEEDS to change."

π¨ποΈ | Marco Rose on Michael Carrick:
"I feel a lot of empathy for my colleagues, for everyone. Everyone has to understand that even we are just humans, and we try to do our job the best possible way.
"But if a game starts, the work is done, then it's up to the lads, and then sometimes it's about the momentum, sometimes it's about a little bit of luck.
"At the end, it's never easy for us again, and I feel with Michael, yes."

Gary Neville:
"The #mufc fans are singing the Michael Carrick song because I think they know what's going to happen here. They've seen this before.
"He's one of their own, and he's popular.
"But the owners, the sporting department and the players are not popular, and they've badly let this football club down.
"Those two [Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox] tomorrow are probably going to make a decision that will disgust Manchester United fans, but it's probably necessary.
"It's just an absolute mess." [Sky]
