Introducing EveryApp (YC F26). Our mission: make every app open source.
We started with OpenSEO (24k GitHub stars). Now we're doing it for every app your business runs on.
Star the project, try an app, or build your own 🧵
I have signed this as a constituent of Cork South Central pioneering citizen science here for 18+ years following the launch of the iPhone.
@MichealMartinTD is well capable, well spoken and I have a lot of respect for him. However, his results are disastrous. He has totally failed the people of cork south central on housing and domestic innovation.
For years I have tried to organise a meeting to discuss the role and purpose of technology.
This minister for health, education and defence couldn’t care less that millions of people have adopted always online data collection technology with no training.
This is the biggest cyber security, education and mental health blunder in the history of the state.
This year Irelands x2 departments of education will spend over €18 billion yet will achieve absolutely nothing to support research in citizen science. This is criminally unqualified fraudulent nonsense.

Democracy.
A vote every 4 years is democracy in its most minimalist sense.
Citizen science is democracy operationalised, anytime, anywhere.
18+ years of rejection for citizen science in Cork South Central constituency of @MichealMartinTD & the EU Commissioner for Democracy @EUCssrMcGrath

Maybe it’s because they’re completely fucking hopeless and terrifyingly incompetent
A growing volume of voters who don’t like the government are drifting to the populist right instead, creating a new front in Ireland’s political fragmentation.

WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

Not all forests are equal, and now we can map the difference. 🌳
Meet Forest Typology (ForTy): a 10m map of natural, planted, and farmed forests to help identify deforestation and protect the forests that matter most. 🧵

So little is being done about 38,000 hectares of woodland being destroyed by invasive Rhododendron Ponticum and more from Cherry Laurel (that for some reason are both still legal to sell in the U.K.?!) that BBC noticed our work and came to learn the ropes. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmn9…
Replying to @OpenLitterMap @lawlessj
from the pqs we've checked, donna mcgettigan (sf) is well ahead, with 23 citizen science questions between 7 jul and 7 sept 2026. pádraig o'sullivan (ff) asked 6 on 1 jul (pqs 341 to 346) on whether research ireland evaluated openlittermap. we haven't counted dáil speeches by party yet, so we won't guess at that.
Vote Donna McGettigan 🥇@sinnfeinireland walking all over the “party of education” who have achieved *nothing* for citizen science with billions in funding for x2 depts of education
Replying to @OpenLitterMap @lawlessj
from the record: 23 pqs from donna mcgettigan on citizen science or citizen-generated data, 3 on 7 july, 7 on 28 july and 13 on 7 sept. 19 went to the higher ed minister, 2 to climate (pq 126 of 7 july names openlittermap) and 2 to education. main asks: a presidency plan, who leads policy, and how research ireland classifies and funds it.
