What I like about California is that the Democratic voters really do keep a check on its very left-wing government by voting down in referendums a lot of very progressive policies.

This is actually so funny
Susie Wiles, whom President Trump calls the most powerful woman in the world, says she has a plan to save the midterms for the Republican Party. She says Trump will campaign like it’s 2024 all over again, and admits she hasn’t even told him this yet. Her strategy is to make the election national instead of local and center everything around Trump.

This is another very hopeful development that Republicans went to Ivy League schools actually start talking like it
Blue Wave smacked Republicans so hard DeSantis dropped the act and started talking like a guy who went to Yale and got a JD from Harvard again.

This my genuine concern. I believe the Democrats should have leadership that is a bit more spread out across the country.
PSAKI: “Your thoughts on @SenSchumer for senate leader?” @scott_colom: “My concern is too many of our leaders are from the same area of the country.”

Dan saw Mississippi flip blue and said, “Hmm let’s see if we can get Oklahoma next.”
Congratulations to the new Chief of Staff, @StephenM. Double down on the agenda. Too many people are demanding a change to tough policies because they were unpopular in the midterms. That’s foolish and cowardly. The short term unpopularity of a policy does not make the policy wrong. The President’s priority should be long term benefits (like an Iran without a nuke), not short term popularity.

Holy shit, I didn't realize Scott Colom was denied a federal judgeship because Cindy Hyde-Smith blocked his nomination by lying about his connections to George Soros hahahahaha If she hadn't done that he'd be a district judge and instead he's going to beat her in a Senate race and become the first black Senator from Mississippi since 1870. Nobody has ever been owned this hard by poetic justice The mills of God grind slowly/yet grind exceeding small

I’m convinced some of yall live in echo chambers. Mississippi is not California and not being a moderate would place him out of a job in 6 years.

I wonder if he knows what his primary job description is in the administration? Because it isn’t hard for someone to attach him too the Iran War since it’s, you know, apart of foreign policy…..

Looking back it really was dumb for Republicans to govern Texas like it was R+40.

Ran across the tweet and I can’t help but lowkey laugh
So what’s the takeaway when Scott Colom inevitably loses by 10+ points or are we just gonna keep playing this silly little game in MS every time CHS runs?

To give Ted Cruz some credit he has always taken his opponents seriously and did sound the alarm on a couple of issues regarding the Trump admin.
Replying to @PatrickSvitek
Cruz: "Too many Republican politicans seemed like they didn’t understand or they didn’t care" about the cost of living. "Tariffs have made everything too expensive, and the Iran war has dragged on too long. It should’ve been brief, decisive and over. It needs to end."

I think they are taking a victory lap because many of the candidates they recruited are about to give them a nice majority. I believe that is worth celebrating, actually!
Seeing Jeffries and Schumer take victory laps is exasperating. They are part of the old school, big donor wing of the party, trying to take credit for a grass roots movement they had NOTHING to do with.

Agencies won’t call it yet, but based on the latest vote drops you can call Mississippi for Colom. Democrats flipping a U.S. Senate seat in Mississippi is about the craziest thing I can remember since Democrats flipped the senate race in South Carolina…less than 24 hours ago

The bottom fell out so bad they elected somebody gay in Texas. I fear it is a purple state.

I think he does but I don’t really see him as a viable option for Republicans. Anyone tied themselves so closely to Trump can’t be the ring leader. I see Nikki Hailey or somebody else tryna take the mantle.
Ron DeSantis spikes the football about Republicans sweeping statewide in Florida last night. You have to wonder if he takes another shot at running for president in 2028.

After a historic defeat he really just talked about the ballroom. He honestly hates his party and the people he is suppose to govern😂.
