YAYOI KUSAMA 1929—2026 She did not simply paint dots. She made them infinite. For more than seven decades, Yayoi Kusama transformed repetition, infinity and imagination into one of the most recognisable visual languages in contemporary art. Painting. Sculpture. Performance. Infinity rooms. Fashion. Her universe moved beyond the museum and into popular culture and design including her landmark collaboration with Louis Vuitton, first initiated during the Marc Jacobs era.
