Have you seen fMRI papers incorporate molecular information from PET/AHBA and wondered exactly how and why people are doing this? Our new review aims to be a one-stop-shop for molecular-informed fMRI analyses, both practically and theoretically! psyarxiv.com/ep5ng/

New preprint out from a great collaboration with @ASchrantee @BoucherieDaphne @DanielArturAM! Here we found a direct link between 5HTT availability and functional connectivity of 5HTT- and 5HT1A functional networks at rest and during an emotional face matching task. Check it out!
The functional circuits related to serotonin transporter and serotonin 1A receptor are differentially associated to serotonin ... biorxiv.org/cgi/content/shor… #biorxiv_neursci

Research by @lawn_tim is investigating the role that dopamine receptors have in #LSD's effects on consciousness. Evidence suggests it is associated with perceived selfhood and cognition, while serotonergic systems impact visual perception. Read @PsyPost: psypost.org/2022/05/neurosci…

Molecular enrichment of fMRI can be extended to ASL data using REACT! New preprint out biorxiv.org/cgi/content/shor… showing that ASL is as informative as BOLD in detecting functional circuits associated with specific molecular pathways. With @DanielArturAM @mehta_mitul72 🧵

We then compared the ASL and BOLD networks in terms of spatial similarity and reproducibility, finding robust spatial patterns of molecular-enriched functional connectivity for both modalities, moderate-high similarity between BOLD and ASL maps and mixed reproducibility results.
