Yesterday the oaten hay looked good 🌾This morning they looked a bit tired, needed to have a lay down after 20mm 💦Tonight I’m listening to thunder, and watching a massive storm roll in on the radar. Hoping they’re not completely flat when I wake up 🥴
Does anyone variable rate fungicides? Only about half the paddock needs it. The rest needs roundup. 😣
I found a shed frame on Facebook for cheap. I thought, “how hard could it be?” But that might have been a stuff up, because it turns out there’s actually a bit in it 🤨
My advice is, just buy a shed complete, and pay someone to put it up!
No trial holds more value than one done on your own dirt, with your own machine. Thanks Matt for helping us make future decisions with confidence 👍👍

9 months ago, my 3 boys were getting up early and feeding calves every day. They worked so hard, and did almost everything themselves. Today we found one dead. Everyone is gutted. 33% of our heard gone.
Farming is cruel at times. Even as a kid. 😕
Humility is the type of lesson that requires regular reminders. It’s not like riding a bike.
Come on fellas. Show everyone your air strips! 🤪
20 days in the ground and there’s a bit happening. Thunder lentils looking happy. Always good to see some fishing bait in every shovel full. 28 in this one. 😀👌
Today I got one of the most important seeding program jobs done.
Organised tractor snacks. Unequivocally the best biscuits ever produced. 😁👌
Today I found out what everyone was complaining about last season. I’ve had MAP hang up in the past, but never like this!
Hopefully some talc fixes it! 🤞
Looks like decent product, just won’t flow! 😩
Now, I’m no expert, I failed chemistry at high school, but I’ve made some pretty handy home brew beers in the past.
I’m thinking, I have canola. Surely with a few tec screws, some baling twine, a packet of cable ties & some empty IBCs I can turn it into biodiesel? Help?

You can’t hold all white Australians responsible for the dark chapters of Australia’s colonial period.
A lot of you guys have fire fighting units on your chaser bins.
Can you share ideas that are awesome, where and how you mounted nozzles, how much water, what pumps you used etc?
This is important to me. Rules don’t replace critical thinking and decision making. Plenty of dirt roads are fine for 100km/h. Plenty are unsafe at 50. Let the driver decide on weather, road condition, ability etc.
The Federal Government @ausgov is proposing to reduce the 100km/h default speed limit on non-signposted unsealed roads to 80 or 70km/hr. Have your say by 11 Nov 👉🏻infrastructure.gov.au/have-y…
I’m absolutely gutted that someone thought they should shoot this incredibly intelligent and thought provoking man, just because he has strong opposing political and religious views. Prayers are with his wife and children who have to live without him now😞🙏

He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Last week I’m listening to a @johnkempf podcast, and tonight I’m out spraying some melted urea and trace elements, because John said do it at night! 🤨 How much more efficient is foliar applied N v. ground applied?
