#鳥山明 先生 #AkiraToriyama sensei #ドラゴンボール #DragonBall #DragonBall40th #DRAGONBALL40周年 When I was asked to illustrate the cover for Dragon Ball 40th anniversary box set, two thoughts immediately came to my mind. Frist,I’m nowhere near worthy of taking on a such project like this. But there was absolutely no way I could turn it down. and second was, This was probably the only chance I’d ever get to officially draw Dragon Ball tribute art for a publisher. So I decided to go all out and draw as many Dragon Ball characters as I possibly could! Rather than trying to outdo the other mangaka senseis in terms of artistic skill, I wanted to show my respect for Toriyama Akira-sensei and Dragon Ball by drawing more characters than anyone else. And that’s exactly what I did. I went all out and drew a ton of Dragon Ball characters! Vol. 26 Artist's Comment: 私がドラゴンボールのカバーを描かせていただけるなんて、ただただ光栄です。それに尽きます。 It’s an absolute honor to be able to draw a Dragon Ball cover. That’s all there is to it.

The concept of this illustration was the excitement of encountering the mysteries on the Moon, and the determination to overcome the unknown challenges ahead.

#DrSTONE #ThankYouAll A thank-you illustration I drew for the final season of the Dr. STONE anime. As of now, this has been my final drawing related to Dr. STONE. I poured my gratitude into this illustration for everyone involved in both the manga and the anime, as well as for all the fans who have supported the Dr. STONE series. To express my appreciation for the fans, I deliberately used a photo of the cosplayer(@nanasemeron) cosplaying as Kohaku as a reference while drawing her. I’m happy to finally share this illustration with you all here.

#Boichi #DrSTONE Reflections of the Stars (3/3) Dr. STONE (2021) Stars fill Senku’s visor, and his eyes are filled with stars as well. At this moment, there is nothing but stars, everywhere. I think reflections of stars have become something of a signature motif in my work. I often draw them in moments of spiritual significance or philosophical revelation. In particular, the star-filled eyes in Dr. STONE were used as a key visual for the anime’s final season. I was truly grateful, and it felt like one of those special moments when I realized that my vision and the anime production team’s vision were in perfect harmony. I hope I’ll have more opportunities to draw moments like these in the future.
