I have never in my life, not once, seen a man lament that young girls don't read more military history books, or that they don't want to play with tonka trucks. Not even the most liberal, feminized, woke men do this.
This phenomenon is restricted exclusively to white, liberal, usually (though unfortunately not always) childless, HR-brained women. And the reason is simple: they just hate men and don't want them to exist. They can't literally genocide men, so they do the next best thing, which is to try and turn them into women.
Next time save the bullshit and just say you hate men, it'll be easier for everyone involved.

A statistic that sounds fake but isn't: Not one single white American man born after 1984 has published a work of literary fiction in The New Yorker.
It's not because they stopped writing. It's because The New Yorker has refused to publish them. The publishing industry has blacked out a generation of male writers & then they wonder why boys don't read.
About 70% of publishing professionals are women.
Because agents and editors tend to select books they personally relate to, an increasing number of male authors are being sidelined in the publishing industry, resulting in an overwhelming number of female protagonists on our shelves—and a dearth of male ones.
No wonder young men are no longer reading.

You know, I’ve never once needed to warn my friends that if they have warrants, they need to stay away from an event because the cops are there.
Not once.

Fun fact: the amount of people who die from medically assisted suicide in Canada is greater than the amount of people who die from gun violence in the United States, both on a per capita basis and in absolute numbers.

No, Congresswoman. You are not “facing 17 years in federal prison for doing your job and standing up to Trump.”
That is not what the indictment says.
You were conducting congressional oversight at Delaney Hall. That part WAS your job.
But federal prosecutors allege that when officers attempted to arrest Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, you physically interfered with that arrest, struck one federal officer with your forearm, grabbed him, and used your forearms against another officer.
THAT alleged conduct is what produced the three federal charges carrying a combined statutory maximum of 17 years.
You have every right to contest those allegations. You are presumed innocent. You can argue the prosecution is politically motivated, challenge the evidence, challenge the officers’ account and make every constitutional defense available to you.
But “I am facing 17 years for standing up to Trump” is political legerdemain.
Opposition to Trump is not the charged offense.
Congressional oversight is not the charged offense.
The alleged physical interference with federal officers is.
Those are materially different statements, and Americans deserve the whole story.

I am facing 17 years in federal prison for doing my job and standing up to Trump’s merciless immigration enforcement campaign. I am finding the strength to keep standing up every single day.

I'm a naturalized citizen. Of course naturalization can be revisited if the person lied to get into the country. What is the NYT even arguing here? You can lie to get in to America and we can't do anything about it because it's too late, you're already here? Ridiculous.

Confusing worldview.

Tuition-free college isn't free, Bernie. It simply transfers the bill from students to taxpayers.
And here's the irony: college attendance is disproportionately higher among wealthier families, yet your solution makes everyone pay, including poorer workers who never attended college.
You're demanding that people who never agreed to someone else's debt help pay it, often subsidizing individuals whose degrees will give them greater earning potential.
Apparently, holding someone responsible for a debt they voluntarily accepted is cruel, but forcing a poorer stranger to help pay it is compassion.
