As well as limiting my reach Musk seems to have decided who I can follow, so give me a shout if you've been bumped. I don't consider myself important enough not to reciprocate. TiA

These family regimes shouldn't pretend to be innocent. They are coconspirators who helped Trump and Netanyahu murder our women and children. They calculated their overlords would win the war—and miscalculated badly. Their claims of innocence insult the intelligence of sane people

Tomorrow, when you see the front pages of the right-wing press telling you how dreadful the budget was, remember their track record.
Also remember that right-wingers won’t ever be happy with any budget that doesn’t push down on those at the bottom to benefit those at the top.
So @Nigel_Farage and @reformparty_uk lied about the reason for Nigel not turning up to the budget?
And he’s lied again with another excuse!?!

It’s unfortunate that Zelenskyy and Ukraine has to simultaneously fight a two-front war against Russian barbarians and the greedy gangsters running the US government.
This is coming from the party that want to cut the minimum wage.
🚨Labour are undercutting British wages again.
They’re making it cheaper to hire foreign workers.
Labour will CUT occupational salary thresholds for foreign workers from the median to the 25th percentile.
Translation: businesses can import cheap foreign labour for far less than the typical Brit in that job earns.
All while millions of Brits are unemployed, young people struggle, and the welfare bill is expected to balloon to £451 BILLION.
Reform will end this madness.

Unreal
A doctor rapes a patient.
The victim reports it.
THE DOCTOR ADMITS IT.
He tells a hospital committee that it was a "one off" and he will not do it again.
THE MANAGEMENT SAYS THAT IS OK.
And allow him to carry on working.
THE POLICE TAKE NO ACTION.
The hospital concerned is the BLACKPOOL VICTORIA HOSPITAL.
The same hospital where a 75 year old patient was raped to death and no one was ever convicted for it.
Are women worth nothing to the NHS?

Replying to @TiceRichard
Richard, the £52 million daily balancing cost is a serious issue. But let's examine the full picture.
Britain has built wind generation faster than the electricity grid can transport it.
That means paying wind farms to reduce output and paying other generators, often gas plants, to replace it.
That's an expensive infrastructure problem, and consumers deserve answers.
But you're claiming it's ALL caused by wind and solar. NESO also identifies transmission constraints, wholesale electricity prices and expensive balancing bids.
And your £200 per household figure? The IFS estimates balancing costs accounted for approximately £40 of the average household bill in 2025–26.
So where's your calculation showing £200?
The real questions are why grid upgrades were delayed, who is responsible and how quickly costs can be reduced.
Richard, if we're serious about reducing energy bills, shouldn't we examine the actual causes rather than blaming everything on Net Zero?
