.@MKE_MBB has something to prove in 2026-27.
Danilo Jovanovich is ready to lead, Tre Norman has a chip on his shoulder, and Bart Lundy’s squad has its sights set on a Horizon League championship.

Seeing Washington & K-State *that* low after being among the bigger spenders two seasons ago shows you just how the perspective on NIL has changed.
Remember when Coleman Hawkins and Great Osobor had a $2 million record-setting NIL deal? Now, we don’t even think twice at that!
A deep dive with @MattNorlander into how much each high-major basketball roster costs. It ranges from $5 million to over $25 million.

Strongly recommend reading this article... wild to see all of these numbers
Feels like eons ago when everyone freaked out that Miami paid Nijel Pack $750K
Pretty insane how much money some of these schools are paying just to be mid or flat out bad

All aboard the hype train. James is a superstar
In his first eight minutes, Nigel James Jr. has 10 points on 4-for-4 shooting, with three assists, zero turnovers, a highlight block and a steal that led to a fastbreak dunk.
He should be somewhere on preseason All-American ballots. #mubb
Okay then. Adjust accordingly.

Here's the top 25. What sticks out most to you?
Oregon: Elite resources/money, but will always play second-fiddle to football. Very similar mold to Texas and Ohio State, and I think that's a good thing.
Expectations are high, but aren't sky-high. Yet the resources are all there. This a good enough job to attract a P5 coach.
Would also expect Oregon to likely turn to Tony Stubblefield to lead the program on an interim basis.
Could be wrong, Brian Fish or Yasir Rosemond are other names, but should expect to hear an announcement shortly.
BREAKING: Oregon head basketball coach Dana Altman has retired, @JoeTipton confirms.

What an awesome run from Dana Altman -- not just at Oregon, but throughout his entire career.
Nearly 800 career victories. Didn't lose a single first-round game in nine trips to the NCAAT at Oregon. Elite Eight in 2016, followed by Final Four run in 2017.
Dana Altman announces his retirement. Andrew Rohde enters the transfer portal.
A perfectly normal early October day in college hoops!

Not only is Ben Henshall on the roster, but he will also have two seasons of eligibility.
Good news for Chris Beard, who said today that Henshall has a chance to be one of Ole Miss’ best players.
