Apparently $ASTS lost some (not most, that’s the market, but some) shareprice due to waiting for launch an extra 5 weeks and 5 days post production of last batch.
I have held AST for more than 5.5 years.
And so this “delay” registers as 2% of the timeline.
And putting a launch or two worth of BlueBirds on the shelf for a few weeks changes exactly nothing on that timeframe.
Launch will catch up soon enough and time to full constellation hasn’t changed a minute due to this. People should therefore chill out a bit and remain focused on the price.
Can’t freak out one week that launch is more plentiful than production only to freak out over the opposite next week. It’s not healthy.
It’s perfectly normal in the space industry to sit and wait for launch multiple months and routinely (= more often than not) launches slip by days to weeks for operational reasons.
Man up.
$ASTS $SPCX: 🚨The next Falcon 9 launch out of Florida now has a date -- November 29 at around 11 AM EST for the @northropgrumman Cygnus NG-25 resupply mission to the International @Space_Station.
The "6 week pause" is scheduled to terminate on November 29.
This is according to Ben Cooper's Launch Viewing Guide, which I view as the most reliable launch manifest other than seeing the date directly published by @SpaceX or their customer.
After this launch, @AST_SpaceMobile has BB14-16 ready to go and waiting at @AstrotechSpace so hopefully AST's mission is soon after (TO BE CONFIRMED). And even more hopefully AST will have BB17-19 shipped and waiting for its launch as well. 🤝

$ASTS: This story is making the rounds so I am going to address it: floridatoday.com/story/tech/…
On October 21, SpaceX VP Kiko Dontchev stated that SpaceX has a 6 week gap before the next Falcon 9 launch out of Florida, reason being for prep for Starship's debut in Florida. The 6 week gap aligns with Ben Cooper's manifest noting a "late November" launch for the Northrop Grumman Cygnus NG-25 mission, so this should be the next F9 launch being referenced by Kiko Dontchev.
What this means for @AST_SpaceMobile:
+ BB14-16 are at Astrotech integrating for launch, and will be ready to go as soon as SpaceX Falcon 9 can launch them probably in December.
+ Why did AST ship if they don't have a launch? In my view it's one or both of two reasons: (1) AST was blindsided by SpaceX's sudden pause and/or (2) AST shipped to make room at their factory
+ This 6 week gap explains AST's silence on launch date PR. Their hands are literally tied.
+ Note that this Falcon 9 pause is not unique-to-ASTS as it impacts all Falcon 9 launches out of Florida, although you could make an argument that AST's payload is really the only one being impacted by this pause. That being said, I don't know the status of other Falcon 9 payloads that may or may not be impacted. Prep for Starship is a good excuse/reason though but yes it is unfortunate that AST's launch is being impacted.
+ How AST manages the narrative from here will be key, whether they do it with an interim update now or wait for the Q3 earnings call on November 9. The best thing for us shareholders and sentiment would be if AST can signal that production is going well and batches are continuing to get done and stockpile for a more rapid launch cadence starting in December when Falcon 9 returns to operation in Florida.
--> Note that if AST's production is going well in the background, then I think this pause from SpaceX helps explain the unusual gap between BB11-13 and BB14-16. And as mentioned in bullet 3 above, this explains the weird comms from AST surrounding BB14-16 batch.
--> Astrotech should have plenty of room to accept more BlueBirds if we can ship another batch or two while we wait for SpaceX to resume F9 operations in Florida.
In adjacent/related news, our boots on the ground are reporting that more shipping containers are arriving in Midland soon, which is a positive sign for more shipments coming in the near term: teapawt.net/DanteePacheco/status/2…

VERIZON RULES OUT MVNO DEAL WITH SPACEX
During their earnings call, the following was noted
"I will say, and I'll repeat it again, that there are no back doors to any of our MVNO agreements, and I see absolutely no benefit whatsoever to extending an MVNO deal to any satellite provider. I don't buy into the idea of this prisoner's dilemma. That's ridiculous.
There is no benefit to Verizon extending an MVNO deal. Um, and, and we look forward to being able to, for six years to finally punch back. And we'll punch back hard when that happens."

Brisanet Serviços de Telecomunicações S.A. (B3: BRST3) ("Company" or "Brisanet"), in accordance with Article 157(4) of Law No. 6,404, dated December 15, 1976, and in accordance with CVM Resolution No. 44, dated August 23, 2021, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, together with Unifique Telecomunicações S.A. and lez! Telecom, it has signed a Commercial Agreement with AST SpaceMobile to offer mobile satellite broadband services (also known as Direct-to-Device-D2D) throughout Brazil.
Regional mobile operators will make available the 700 MHz band radio frequencies they hold and will be responsible for investing in the infrastructure needed to connect their mobile networks to AST SpaceMobile's satellite constellation via ground gateways.
The collaboration aims to enable voice calls, broadband data, and video streaming directly on standard smartphones, without any modifications, eliminating the need for specialized equipment, software updates, or apps. By integrating satellite connectivity into its existing mobile network, the company aims to expand coverage wherever people live, work, and travel, allowing customers to stay connected even when they are out of range of terrestrial networks.
The initiative reinforces the commitment of regional operators to expand connectivity throughout the country and complements the investments they are already making to expand their terrestrial networks.
According to José Roberto Nogueira, founder and CEO: "The partnership with AST SpaceMobile complements our network and allows us to extend connectivity beyond the reach of our terrestrial infrastructure, offering customers access to voice and mobile broadband services in more locations using the smartphones they already own; this secures Brisanet's place in the future of connectivity."
The final details of the agreement are still being negotiated, and the transaction is subject to certain conditions. The Company will keep the market informed of the transaction's progress and any new developments.

$38 would be the ugly move and that would fill a gap from from September 12, 2025 as well as test the 2024 high set in August. I would expect that to be a very strong support. The concern is if tax loss harvesting kicks in and takes it even lower into end of the year effectively unwinding the entire 2025 markup, with buyers returning as early as January and more so in March 2027

Historically, markets take off prior to the midterms and run hard the rest of the year following the election.

Andrew M. Johnson has been CFO (and CLO) during a period of heavy and successful capital markets activity. AST SpaceMobile $ASTS executed multiple large convertible note offerings in 2025–2026, including (but not limited to):
• $1.15 billion (Oct 2025, 2% notes due 2036 — one of the longer-dated CBs in the U.S. market in years 👏)
• Additional ~$1.075 billion and $1.0 billion+ deals in 2026 (2.25% and 1.625% 👀notes)
These were structured with low coupons, meaningful conversion premiums, and in some cases paired with stock sales used to repurchase higher-cost older paper. These three remain fully outstanding.
Johnson signed the relevant 8-Ks as CFO/CLO. Given his background (prior capital markets and corporate development experience at 3D Systems) and dual legal/finance role, he would have been closely involved in the structuring, documentation, and execution.
Now the company renews his contract (three more years). It’s a big win for the company in my humble opinion. And includes some humble improvements also for Andy.
I’m very happy we get to keep this talent.
As for Change of Control terms, while the new contract states he is elligible it’s no change in this respect. He clearly was that under the recently adopted policy. So that’s not the cause of the new contract.
It’s to signup for 3 more years and keep this talent.
Not having performed these funding rounds when the company did would have been a small nightmare now with the general headwind of the sector.
We all owe Andy a Thank You for this fact. And I’m glad it’s recognised in this new contract.
-Thank You Andy! 🐾
$ASTS This 8K filing may be just general housekeeping, however, it could also be related to M&A discussions and a way to lock in your CFO and/or give them confidence they will survive the merger (or get paid but recent change of control docs may cover that).

SpaceX had their earnings call today. I’ve never been more bullish on this sector. Some highlights in connectivity:
• Elon said they see "a clear path to several hundred billion dollars a year in connectivity revenue." The biggest company in space just told everyone this market is worth hundreds of billions. That's the market $ASTS is built for.
• Their connectivity business did $5.25B in one quarter, up 69% from last year. Annualized that's about a $21B run rate, which is literally more revenue than $ASTS is worth as an entire company right now. Let that one sit for a second.
• Starlink Mobile already has 22 million monthly users and grew 37% in one quarter. People keep asking if anyone actually wants satellite service on their phone. Yeah. They do. Millions of them, growing fast.
• Their timeline is slower than people think. Mobile V2 sats start flying on Starship in 2027, spectrum gets folded in after, and the big US service turn on is early 2028. $ASTS said THIS MORNING they're targeting initial coverage before the end of this year. There's a real window here and AST is already in it.
• Shotwell admitted how the network actually has to work. S-band carries most of the traffic, low band is needed to get into buildings, and most mobile data still rides WiFi anyway. It's a spectrum game at the end of the day. Always was. That's literally the game AST plays with its carrier partners.
• SpaceX told investors they want to become a major mobile carrier in the US. Not a partner. A carrier. So if you're AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile, your choices are the company openly coming for your customers, or $ASTS, the one that runs through your spectrum and makes you money. Pretty easy pick.
• And this wasn't some money losing experiment either. That segment printed about $2.4B in operating income in the quarter with 55% gross margins. Satellite connectivity makes real money when it's built out. That's the whole AST model once the BlueBirds are up.
SpaceX basically got on a call today and validated the market, the demand, the business model and the timeline for us.
The race is on. Go AST!

$ASTS: 🚨🇪🇺 AST SPACEMOBILE ADVANCES SPACE-BASED CELLULAR BROADBAND IN EUROPE IN COLLABORATION WITH EUROPEAN MOBILE NETWORK OPERATOR PARTNERS
Collaboration among Europe’s four largest mobile network operators expected to accelerate network integration, expand coverage and improve connectivity for the citizens of Europe
Dedicated European-operated ground infrastructure and BlueBird satellite capabilities support service readiness across more than 500 million mobile subscribers
MIDLAND, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (“AST SpaceMobile”) (NASDAQ: ASTS), the company building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network accessible directly by everyday smartphones, designed for both commercial and government applications, welcomes the Letter of Intent signed by its mobile network operator partners Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone to explore a potential joint bid for Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) spectrum as AST SpaceMobile continues to advance service readiness across Europe.
The collaboration among Europe’s four largest mobile network operators is expected to accelerate network integration, improve the customer experience and extend coverage into areas without reliable mobile connectivity. The initiative supports a coordinated approach to spectrum access and service deployment, strengthening European digital data sovereignty while enabling operators to deliver space-based cellular broadband through their existing mobile services.
“Europe’s mobile network operators are taking an important step toward extending connectivity to every subscriber, wherever they live, work and travel,” said Wayne Thorsen, Chief Commercial Officer of AST SpaceMobile. “Our role is to support our partners with the satellite technology, spectrum capabilities and ground infrastructure needed to deliver cellular broadband directly to the phones people already use. Together, we are building a third layer of connectivity that expands coverage and strengthens the resilience of Europe’s mobile networks.”
AST SpaceMobile’s existing European joint venture, Satellite Connect Europe, AST SpaceMobile is providing a dedicated network of European-operated ground infrastructure that link its BlueBird satellites with mobile operators’ core networks. This infrastructure is designed to support coverage across Europe, a market with over 500 million mobile subscribers, while keeping data handling and service control within European jurisdiction. Operators retain their customer relationships as satellite connectivity extends the reach of their terrestrial networks.
AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird satellites feature the largest communication satellites ever deployed in low Earth orbit and connect directly to standard, unmodified smartphones, backed by 3,900 patent and patent pending claims. The company has demonstrated peak download speeds of 98.9 Mbps, with next-generation satellites expected to deliver peak data rates approaching 200 Mbps. These capabilities are designed to support voice, video and broadband services for consumers, businesses, first responders and governments.
The Company’s satellite technology can tune across approximately 1,150 MHz of mobile network operator partners’ low- and mid-band spectrum globally. Together with AST SpaceMobile’s S-band priority rights, this flexibility enables the Company to combine participating operators’ spectrum with satellite spectrum to support expanded coverage and capacity in European markets, subject to applicable authorizations.

$ASTS: 🚨🇪🇺 AST SpaceMobile has agreements with Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica, and started testing in August with Deutsche Telekom ➡️🧩
Four European operators sign Letter of Intent to explore a joint bid for Mobile Satellite Services spectrum and advance Direct-to-Device services
Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone have signed a Letter of Intent to explore a potential joint bid for the future allocation of spectrum for Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) in Europe.
The initiative supports the European Commission's ambition to strengthen Europe's sovereignty, security and resilience in critical connectivity infrastructure. It will ensure responsible European governance of key space infrastructure. In addition, it will provide all Mobile Network Operators with open and non-discriminatory access to offer Direct-to-Device (D2D) services to their customers. These services would be offered through a model designed to foster competition, reduce market fragmentation and expand consumer choice across Europe.
By combining the operators' extensive customer reach, network capabilities and operational expertise, the initiative could accelerate market deployment, enable efficient use of spectrum and facilitate the seamless integration of satellite connectivity into existing mobile networks.
The joint initiative by Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone has a clear ambition: to meet customer demand for universal coverage in underserved areas, strengthen the resilience of public networks, protect critical communications, and support the development of a European constellation.
As part of the project, the four operators plan to establish key ground network infrastructure as well as critical coordination and monitoring functions in Europe, without investing directly in a satellite constellation. This will be provided by a satellite partner still to be selected.
The partnership between the MNO-led initiative and the satellite operator would combine European governance and market access with proven satellite technology and deployment expertise.
This Letter of Intent to explore a potential joint bid for MSS spectrum does not replace existing satellite partnerships.
