The ground is embossed with moss, a soft landing for the fallen Tsubaki flowers. When you look up, you're greeted with the weeping plum blossoms. Jonangu is our favorite spot to delight in the plum season. Do you have a favorite spot to see plum blossoms in Japan?

When finding my co-founder who has an extensive background in branding, we determined "Pieces of Japan" felt more editorial and less like a lifestyle brand. ↓
Replying to @tinastsh @pojstudio
Inspiring as always, Tina! Congratulations on an incredible year! I'm particularly interested in the thought process behind updating the brand from "Pieces of Japan" to "POJ Studio". Happy holidays to you and the family! ❤️

What a crazy year it’s been. We’ve moved into an office, we are sustaining two craftspeople (supporting many more), we’ve hired three new members to our team and launched 4 new kits and many more products.

"I think a craft is something that was born in the woods." - Takuya Tsutsumi We at POJ love wood, its warmth, smell and infinite possibilities. And in Japan there is an abundance of local wood that is not being used because people use imported wood due to its cheaper price.
