That is why you should make sure your trial strategy should make users experience your products value that will make them to switch from their current alternative.
I'm not a big fan of free plans as a solo founder.
→ They don't always attract the right customers
→ They cost you money to run for users who will mostly never pay
→ They bring way more support
I'd rather make people pay quickly. Fewer users, but more engaged ones.
But the downside.. it's harder to sell.
So you have to find the right balance. For SquidX, I went with a 3-day free trial.
AI video creators, I would advise you to explore creating AI micro drama series and monetize it.
You can post free episodes on Social media and sell access to other episodes.

Exactly, without a clear positioning, distribution will be difficult to be successful
Your Product Positioning is not about describing how great your product is.
It's about helping the right customer understand why your product is a better choice than the alternatives they could choose.
Today at our @snap_vid team meeting, the founder highlighted a feature with huge revenue potential
My job as Growth is to turn that opportunity into clear, compelling messaging for the right audience, then translate it into our landing page & GTM strategy.
Let's see how it goes
B2B SaaS founders...
If your product serves different customer segments, your onboarding shouldn't be the same for everyone.
Help each user find the features and value that matter to them.
The faster they see the value, the faster they can activate.
There is a big difference between
1: Product Market fit
2: Message Market fit and
3: Channel market fit.
You can achieve one and still lack others.
But achieving all 3 will make your product growth formidable.
SaaS founders, this will increase landing page conversion....
Your biggest competitor isn't always another software.
It could be the traditional workflow your users are comfortable with.
Or their decision to do nothing.
Your job is to show them why switching is worth it.
As a Tech Copywriter, it is part of your job to keep asking founders questions when you don't understand how a particular feature works.
Because if you don't understand how it works, how would you turn it into a value that users will care about enough to try it out
I don't think poverty is always a choice.
No, it isn't.
Sometimes, it's a lack of information, access to the right resources, and exposure to opportunities.
And more often than we realise, our environment plays a huge role in that.
Let me explain with a short story.
Sometime in February, during a family get-together in the village, one of my uncles told his nieces how he makes a living rearing guinea fowls and ducks.
He didn't just tell them about the business. He shared everything they needed to know.
How he started.
How much it cost to get started.
How he takes care of the birds.
Where he gets his supplies.
He even shared his suppliers' contacts and stayed in touch with them afterwards.
Fast-forward to today, two of those nieces are doing quite well in the same business. They've even started leveraging social media to market their products.
Now, imagine if that same uncle took everything he knew and packaged it into a course.
Imagine him selling that knowledge for ₦50,000 and getting 200 people to buy it.
That's ₦10 million in revenue.
Think about that for a moment.
He already has the knowledge. He has the experience. He has the results.
But here's the thing: he may never think of turning that knowledge into something he can sell because he's not in an environment where people talk about monetising what they know.
And he's not alone.
There are millions of people with valuable skills, knowledge, and practical experience that others would gladly pay to learn.
But they don't see it.
They don't know it's possible.
Sometimes, all they need is the right information and exposure to a different way of thinking.
This is why we need to take knowledge monetisation more seriously.
You don't always need to invent something new to build a business.
Sometimes, what you already know is valuable enough to become one.
Your knowledge could be someone's next opportunity. It's time to start treating it like an asset.
Saas founders, you might punch me in the face for this...
But I will say it regardless.
"Having too much features is the reason distribution seem not to be working for you"
Before you write copy for a tech brand, clarify the positioning first.
Or else , your copy will be so interesting to read but so bad to convert.
