COPC.io support in @qgis is now released! Grab 3.26.0 to do things like render and interrogate this 9.7 billion point Montreal Island COPC file as a remote S3 object (see it on the web at viewer.copc.io/?copc=https:/…). QGIS is a keystone implementation of COPC.

🤔 Kyiv or Kiev? Kharkiv or Kharkov? Mykolaiv or Nikolaev? To make these kinds of decisions easier, I made a simple web app where you can quickly look up common Ukrainian names* and learn how to correctly write them in English: spellingukraine.com * mostly city names now

Day 26 of #30DaysofDiscoverQGIS3x The 4th Data Viz exercise teaches several ways to map photopoints. It begins with using the Import Geotagged Photos alg & Image widgets. You then use wedge buffers & a Raster Imager marker w/ geometry generators to map the field of view #gischat

If you have the roads you want to travel, turf.length is what you’re looking for. If you don’t, you need a routing engine to find the shortest path for you. APIs like Mapbox Directions make this simple or you can run a library like OSRM or Valhalla on your own hardware.
