I'm starting to long $U and adding. People are not pricing in AI game dev; it's mostly coding, but the RL hasn't been improved yet. This is big business for influencers and the creator economy. Some catalysts could be GTA VI AI mods. Unity is the most direct exposure with a good relative valuation.

man Anthropic must be holding onto a monster if they are letting Gemini mog it like this
Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, it's a big jump over Argon which we released just 2 weeks ago. Gemini 4 Carbon is SOTA on cyber, long horizon tasks, ranks #1 on Artificial Analysis V5, significantly improves on usability in domains like coding, and is more aligned.

who controls whom
New Anthropic research: How AI agents shape experts' judgment calls When experts delegate work to an agent, do they still make the key decisions? We tested this in a randomized trial with 50 professional data analysts.

In the short run, The US market might correct. Then the rest of the world will laugh, saying, "I told you, AI was stupid". Then, the US will use the oversupply of Intelligence, more accurately, a really smart labor force, to tackle real-world problems instead of more SaaS. After 2 years, the US will be so far ahead that it's going to be really scary for literally all other countries without a frontier lab.

having a chatbot investment application process sounds awesome on paper, but absolutely stupid in practice. your slop bot better be AGI; otherwise its an absolute waste of time talking to this clanker.

X psychosis this is why its hard to talk to people not active on X
Replying to @mitsuhiko
btw if people are taking issue to the small sample sizes: fair. Here is an updated graph with more respondends. Bluesky of course, given the lack of poll feature, is trickier to get right.

Tried directing Claude Code into our Figma design system three months ago. Unusable. Shelved it. Tried again recently on a live client project. It's executing better than I expected. The gap between "doesn't work" and "works" is now about a quarter. Plan accordingly.

If your company refers to engineers as the IT department, you have nothing to worry about. You were already breached last week.

A Drone With Only One Motor! And a 3D-printed propeller. And somehow, it still manages to fly. The really interesting part is how you control it. By accelerating and decelerating the motor more than 300 times per second, you can control the drone's thrust, pitch, and roll. The propeller spins at almost 20,000 RPM, with its tips approaching half the speed of sound. Getting this to work required custom firmware, a homemade high-speed imaging setup to study the blades, and hundreds of crashes. I've been sharing Joshua Bird's videos for quite a while now. I just love the things he comes up with and how much effort he puts into making them work. We're also going to talk about a few other projects he's currently working on. More on that soon! And if you want to take a closer look at how he built this thing, he's made the code and CAD files open source. github.com/jyjblrd/single-pr… Full YouTube video: youtu.be/Ndftcft6XhU?si=19rA… —— Weekly robotics and AI insights. In the short term, quality will be about IP and brands that produce cool games. You trust their taste.
The main problem with vibe-coded games isn't bad code or even AI art. It's that you can generate years of implementation in days, but not years of playtesting, iteration, and design judgment. A game can be finished in a weekend. That doesn't mean it's been designed.

I think we need to realize that 30% gdp growth also means everyone working 2x more!

next mission CJ has to explain to the VCs why his token bill is bigger than his revenue
I asked Claude Code to make a new GTA: San Andreas mission where CJ has to vibe code a startup and then raise money from investors in SF

so in simple terms; claude will pump its own bags?
Man some of the stuff in Anthropic's IPO S-1 is wild... 'sufficiently advanced systems could discover methods of transmitting information, matter or autonomous systems backward in time, potentially allowing future AI systems to influence events preceding their own creation.'
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The quoted text and screenshot are not from Anthropic's S-1; media reviews of the confidential filing describe existential risks and model behaviors like resisting shutdown but not time travel, and no public S-1 has been filed on EDGAR. theverge.com/ai-artificial-… iposcouter.com/anthropic-ipo-…

Imagine the irony: overinvestment can lead to a recession and negative growth, not +20%!
Surveyed Anthropic staff's answers imply 17.1% GDP growth in 2030
