The bloggers association of Kenya through their appeal, has enabled those 2 problematic sections be declared null and void and of no legal effect. It is a big win as we head to 2027 elections .

The sections of the CyberCrime Act , specifically sections 22 and 23 have been declared unconstitutional by the Court of Appeal. In short, the state cannot charge anyone under those 2 sections.
